You could reshell it:
Or just strip and respray your existing one?
I've resisted getting a Z logo on the key ring just in case I lost the keys or they were stolen, kinda identifies the car really...
Good idea but the silver is coming off the buttons as well

Wow some great work again..... I really want my cloth seats to find their way to you! Do you do payment plans ☺ï¸

Thx all ?... Mines 59 so must have been before they gave the z ones out!

evening
One of my keys is worn so was looking for a new case to transplant my internals too. I Noticed this on eBay and got me wondering if this fob with a "z" logo is rare or if the Nissan logo'd key fobs I have are copies etc

what has everyone else got???

Nice - I saw these when looking for 370z one .Is 370-350 gaiter that much different? The 370z one in £30 for the gear stick gaiter alone!

Awesome love it

Because I only use that and it used to work.. Some USA forums said that when adding fuel cleaner sometimes it cures the problem - thus I was wondering if shel power might have something in it that affected the sender????
-
I thought so initially until I googled it?.. Looks like it could be a fuel sender ?.
I wondered if nissan will argue or just change.. Also if I have to fill it up to prove it. Surely they have to empty the tank to fix???.?
-
Ah just found this been searching fuel gauge - it appears I now have the same problem... What issues did you have getting it fixed?
-
Anyone else had this? Seems a problem in USA but searched this uk forum and it does nt seem so popular...
Could it be the shell v power??... Was ok when I bought it... Looks like the 2 yr warranty is getting abused!,

Love these there's a nice one on fleabay

I love the wheels - awesome looking car too

Hmm ok thanks .. Mine is only noisy when the clutch is out not when the pedal is on the floor?..but I know what you mean about the sensations throughout the pedal...
Will get it looked at thanks

Tom,
When you are getting this tapping noise, try holding the window up button (even though the window is closed), and let me know what this does to the tapping pattern.
I know this is a very strange thing to notice, but i have found that if you do that with the switch, which is obviously using power and slightly effecting the idle, the tapping goes a little crazy, then calms down again.
Very hard to describe, other that suggesting you give it ago
Haha thanks Ross! I will try this out! That's very random! Suppose it just affects the idle and makes it do it worse or something?
Will - I guess it's because it's in the clutch area and they want to cover their backs as some people do wear clutches out quickly. I bought it privately but didn't notice it at the time. To be fair to the guy he didn't either and he's quite interested in the outcome as he's just ordered a new one! He told me he never abused it and mainly drove it on the motorway commuting in top gear cruising. He has no reason to lie so I believe him. The sound seems quite heavy duty as it travels up through the gear stick and pedal. Guess I'll find out in a couple of days!
Let us know as mine has this as well - if it needs sorting wnt to do it before my warranty expires.
I assumed it was normal as my friends 350 does it too...

Ah ok thx didn't know that?. Changed the battery for a Duracell one today and seems a real improvement to cheaper one I had bought.
-
Awesome Sounds like mine .. I physically pull it out the garage (under our house) when I have to leave early for work so it doesn't wake the neighbours (as much)

Welcome - I'd like to see more of ur car!

Amazing ... Makes me want to bring my cloth 370z seats over! Love the black and red stitching

Just had to go and check on mine as I`ve never used the key slot so never taken notice of it but no there is no light around the slot.
Ok thx very much appreciate it... Strange as at night it's hard find find the hole!
But why do you need to? It's an intelligent key, if you're talking 370.
My car sometimes gives me the no key warning when driving and I have an electric gate at work and it's easier if I know where the key is each time to operate it and not in my pocket etc...
-
The slot does have a light but only if your key isn't registering ie when the battery runs out - found this out yesterday
There is a small orange light at the bottom of the slot just inside.
Thanks that must have been when I saw it... My battery ran out when I got the car!

370 or 350 ?
this is in the 370 section
Yep I have a 59 plate 370z with the "intelligent key" just tried to start in in the dark garage and couldn't find the key slot anywhere and could have sworn it used to light up.(. When I don't put the key in the slot sometimes I get a no key warning.. )
-
The HR has this addition added to it...
Sorry I'm not following, does that mean yeh or nah. .....mine should light up. í ½í¸Š
As a side point ... I'm now in leicester tomorrow am and was thinking of popping to CS to get you opinion on my clutch and if the noise it makes is normal and also to look at a cobra exhaust ..... would you have them in stock or do you order them in..
