No reason really, thought they were the best to go for but of course open to suggestions. The BD pads sound good.

I did look at the yellows, but don't they produce a load of dust? Although to be fair it's silly to go for one pad over the other because of the amount of dust produced..

I thought I read that yellows shouldn't be used with grooved discs?

Looking at changing all 4 discs to the Black Diamond slotted discs and the pads to EBC Red Stuff. Does anyone run this setup/these discs and if so what do you think of them for road/fast road use? I've not heard of Black Diamond before and can't seem to find much info on them.

I'd love to run the DBA discs and Ferodo pads but can't quite justify the price for road use. Also going to swap the brake lines for HELs at some point.

Have you had the Saxo that can stay with you and sit on your bumper............................ in a 30 or 40 limit.

Yeah and the Golf GTI that's glued to your bumper in traffic then speeds off past you once the traffic has cleared

The Z does seem to attract some strange attention. I encountered someone sitting at 60 in the right hand lane on the dual carriageway the other day when the left was completely empty. I kept my distance whilst following them for quite a while and eventually gave them a polite flash of the headlights to make them aware that I wanted to overtake them and they literally SLAMMED their brakes on! Absolutely mad.

It does feel like everybody is trying to race you all the time though, but I try to ignore it now and just let the idiots pass.

Use RainX here, really impressive stuff. I can't help but laugh when I wash my car, the wax on the bodywork and RainX on glass just makes the water run straight off the car!

Managed to scratch mine and I can't for the life of me fill the scratch with paint, it just doesn't work. Does anyone have one of these they don't need in gun metal? It's the passenger side one I'm after and obviously with no scratches or marks on it.

I have the Toyo T1 Sports on all corners and find hem brilliant in the wet and dry, don't feel the need to upgrade to anything other at the moment.

Must say one thing - it's loud!! When I first drove it I thought 'My god what have I done here?' but it's settled down a touch now and it's reawakened the child in me - sounds brutal when given maximum beans. It is a little droney at times on part throttle (but I knew that when I bought it) but nothing that cannot be 'driven around' and has made me genuinely laugh a few times with the sheer outrageousness of it!

I thought the same when I got mine, but the sound is really incredible and I love it. Have you blasted through a tunnel/underground car park yet? I pull this face when I do

My weights are on the inside edge of the rim, I had no idea they were there until I took the wheels off and you can't see them when the wheel is on.

What's the high octane petrol situation like in France? Thinking of a road trip there next year and wondering if high octane is easily available?

God I love GTRs. When I'm finished with the Z I will have one, even if it means being in debt!!

I took my wheels of and soaked the area in meths and scrubbed with a firm bristle detailing brush, finished off with my normal wheel cleaning routine. Worked very well on all 4 wheels

Has anyone here done a bumper tuck with a Cobra back box? I'm unsure how it will look as the Cobra box is pretty small. Does anyone have any pics of this?

Autosol works as a metal polisher and also protects it. Been protecting my new Cobra exhaust with it every few washes, doesn't take 5 minutes to apply
