  1. I expect you saw how filthy the Z was after that many miles and probably my girlfriends pillow and blanket on the passenger seat as she seems to be half sloth half human.

Haha are you also a Justin?

Sure am! :teeth: If we do another tour next year you'll have to come with us!

My zed was absolutely minging by the time i got home, clocked up 1800 miles door to door and worth every mile. Mine is also grey!

Yes that would be good, we will be going to Scotland again next year for sure, so hopefully it's the same time again.

Mine was so dirty I caved in a got the Polish to wash it half way through the trip, something I'd never ever normally do :surrender:

  2. I can't believe how close we were. Would have been good to join the drive over Applecross.

Yes the highlands are beautiful, we go every year now to different areas. Some of my favourite roads are around Argyll and Bute (when they are quiet). Next year it's going to be the outer and southern Hebrides.

  3. Did the Applecross Pass after spending a few days in the Isle of Skye during our annual Scotland road trip, saw the sticker from last months meet :)

Fun road to drive, although we went through cloud at the highest point and couldn't see anything which was a bit scary.

2.5k miles and this is the closest I got to seeing another Z!

  4. On the other hand my cover saved me as my neighbour scared off 4 youths at 4am this morning that were kicking, running over and laying on my car and taking pictures of each other. Can't find any marks on it, so I think without the cover it would be scratched.

Fitting surveillance cameras to the house at the weekend :/

  5. Does anyone know of a device I can use to track my road trips with? Something that I can just leave in the car that will export to a map when I get back and show the entire trip with mileage, altitude etc. I've got a Garmin eTrex I can borrow but that looks like it's more aimed at walkers and I've seen you can do it with some phone apps but would rather a dedicated device for it.

  6. Excellent, thanks for that. The bloke seemed really friendly and helpful and their portfolio on Facebook is good, so I didn't bother shopping around.

You must be very local to me as Cowfold is just up the road.

  7. Ah interesting, how did you rate their work/service? Got a couple of scuffs I need sorting and got a quote from them earlier this year, still not got around to sorting it yet though. They come highly recommended around here though, reasonably priced too.

  8. Not directly but we've been involved during the construction process at some of their places, mad mad places! The Facebook office is similar too and Microsoft, seems to be the way these big corporations are going now. Everyone at Microsoft was either very happy or on drugs.
