Poorboys World Natural Look Dressing
Craig.
Is that the light blue one? If it is, that's what I've used for as long as I can remember. Great stuff!

I've been using Bilberry on mine, might have to go back and check that it's safe now!

Haha. It wasn't me but to be fair they ONLY sell 95 which is BS. I've had to make 'emergency' stops there a couple of times until I can get to somewhere with 98.

I can only mirror what everyone else has said in that the main thing is that no one was hurt which I'm very glad about.
What scares me about this thread (and another on this forum that I have read today) is how easily this appears to happen. I've had the zed for just under 2 months, my first RWD car and my first very powerful car. When I think about my route to and from work (narrow, windy, hilly roads lined with trees), something like this would almost certainly result in a very nasty accident.
I've had a 'wiggle' twice so far, both whilst going in a straight line, both resulted in the TC doing it's job and reminding me what I'm driving.
I'm already a cautious and careful driver, but the amount of people reporting driving normally 'and just loosing it' is rather worrying. Any tips from those of you with more RWD experience?

In opne of the boxes theres a white Sealant, it gives a hell of a gloss once polished up.
The wax is VERY hard work, but results look good
Can you find out what this is please?

Silver 350 behind me this morning through Farnborough and on to Pirbright.
Blinked my hazards and got a flash!

I'm currently waiting for the Nexus 5, hopefully that'll work

Hmm the convoy of 3 might have been us, sure it was midnight and not azure? Can't remember what we were doing on the 28th!

I've tried my HTC which is Android 4.2, iPhone on iOS6 and Windows phone on the latest version. Only my Android doesn't work which is my phone. I'm certain this is an Android problem rather than Nissan.

Very reasonable, very reliable and trusted by a good few members on here
Give them a ring, I'll wager they'll knock your stealership quote into a cocked hat. I know where I'd be taking my Zed.
Saw your Zed there last time I was there

Hello Rob...starting to think you're stalking me!

I just saw someone say you don't need to use premium fuel on the HR - but it clearly says in the fuel cap you must use 98+?
Also I can reiterate that my HR has never used a drip of oil!

In the owners manual it says you can use 95 ron as a stop gap until you can fill up with good stuff.

Another +3 for the megs (me, Lewish & fxn). Been using it for nearly 10 years, not found anything better and have tried plenty.

I want to replace my burgers, but can't decide between chrome or satin:

At the moment I'm thinking chrome, but if you have a GM with satin, I'd love to see a photo! Ideally similar angle to this:

Thanks.

Ollie,
Best to get a new tap the correct size and just carefully retap the threads.
If that fails then a helicoil will work if fitted properly.
Do not go oversize as you will have a problem sourcing the correct bolts and you would have to machine out the upright caliper fixing holes which is not a good idea.
Stock OEM front and rear caliper bolts are in stock if required.
Alex.
Thanks Alex, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Once I've checked the rears I will be in touch for the bolts.
Due to the vibration and forces on the brake callipers. If you do use a helicoil, try to get a locking one or a Spiralock helicoil as these are much more robust to vibration.
Thanks for the tip!

This little saga continues, I decided to put this here rather than start a new thread.
I've done the front so far, with new Pagid discs and yellow stuff pads. It looks like the discs were EBC and the pads were Ferodo, not sure which type.
Unfortunately whoever fitted the previous discs cross threaded the bottom bolts on both the front calipers. I haven't checked the rears yet but hoping these aren't the same. I'm going to get a tap and new bolts and attempt to fix the caliper (my tap and die set doesn't have a tap big enough) but if this doesn't work, would I be better off tapping a bigger thread and getting bigger bolts or would a helicoil be ok? I've not used helicoils before, so I'm not sure if they are strong enough for this application.

Gents,
Sorry to do this at this late stage but myself and LewisH are going to have to bail for various reasons.
Hope you have a good time anyway

Cars are generally better if they are used regularly. Regular use keeps the fluids moving and stops premature wear on rubber parts.
Leaving a car stood for a few weeks at a time isn't really an issue but you should think about a trickle charger for the battery. You'll also need to check the fluids before you use it, oil levels, coolant levels, brake fluid levels. However this should all be part of a regular maintenance routine anyway.
Personally I would also attempt to leave it with little fuel in the tank so that it gets a fresh tank when you next want to use it.

Another quick question, which I haven't been able to find an answer to on the forum. Is it possible to check the inside rear pads without removing the dust guard? I checked the fronts fine after taking a wheel off but the rear dust guard makes it impossible. Do I need to take the pads out to check them?

If we end up with more than 8, we could go to http://www.worplesdonplace.co.uk/
I went there today with a couple of mates, good size car park, nice place and good food.

Good to know. They could do with a refurb but no point making them worse, the lip is currently the better part of the wheels.
