  1. I don't think the car has been tracked, I'll be inspecting further tomorrow when I can get the wheels off to try and identify the discs and pads, will also check they are the right way around. I've only had the car a week and I have no idea if the previous owner was a heavy braker or not. The paper work only says the pads were replaced last year and that they were supplied by the customer.

  2. Hi all,

I just picked up my car last week, so far very happy indeed. I have just ordered new pads as mine are getting low and starting to make some funny noises. I'm just wondering if the 10k miles the current pads have done is normal? I've not had a real performance car before but 10k seems a bit low. The discs are grooved which I suspect has shortened the pad life.

    What do you think?

  3. I've been using Dodo Juice blue velvet on my last two cars (one was blue, the other black), now looking for a sealant for my Twilight Grey zed as I've heard sealants are better for light coloured cars. I'm looking for something that gives a nice wet look, which is hard enough on light cars anyway.

What are you using? Pictures welcome!

  4. Thanks everyone, very pleased. Currently experiencing "new car syndrome" where I'm convinved everyone is out to get me and no one has seen me. I'm a nervous wreck!

Great find...I'm still looking, been to see 6 in total now!

It takes time to find the right car. I'd say, had this car had the standard Rays, I'd probably not have bought it as the mileage was slightly higher than I wanted. Knowing that I wanted different wheels and that the Nismos are rather lovely, I decided to go for it, can't say I've regretted it for a second so far!

  5. Hello folks, after months of wanting and plenty of looking, I present to you my new 350z!

I introduced myself recently and a couple of members kindly PM'd me about the cars they had for sale, I need to extend them an apology for not getting back in touch!

Very happy with the purchase; 2008 HR, 63k miles with GT pack and the 19" Nismo wheels.

I want to use the bluetooth however despite having the steering wheel buttons there's no cradle or module, can I still add it? There only seems to be one thin grey cable where the cradle is supposed to go and I believe the cradle should have two cables going in to it.

  6. This looks awesome, what a trip! My buddies and I have been talking about doing a European road trip for some time. As of Wednesday we will all own Z's so it's time to get planning ;)

BTW get your mate to swap the RX-8 for a 350, I did that a year ago and will never look back! Changing to a Z actually saved me money too. In fuel and oddly enough insurance.

    And repairs!

Well jelly of the trip. Good write up too

  7. Well I'm looking for a Grey HR with 50k or less on the clock, GT pack, black leather (rather than orange) and without sat nav and ideally no reversing sensors, however the last two bits are trivial and wouldn't stop me from purchasing if the right car came along at the right place.

I'm scouring PH and Autotrader all the time and have alerts setup, I'm literally ready to pounce and purchase.

I'm aware there are some cars for sale that meet or come close to what I want, but I also have a budget. I've watched the market for last 6 months or so (both my best buds have 350's) so I know I can get what I want or damn close if I just wait long enough....although the wait is crippling ha.

  8. Hello,

I'm Ollie, some of us have met (at Japfest) where I was a passenger, I've just sold my Corrado and now I'm on the lookout for a 350z! Despite my username, I'm not actually looking for a red one anymore, I have a very specific set of criteria that I need to squeeze into my budget so I may be looking for a while yet and I'll be sure to let you know once I've taken the plunge.
