  1. Thanks guys I'm not doing the wrap myself simply due to lack of time so I'll drop a box of tired plastic bits off and pick up a box of lovely shiny carboness
  2. Thanks not looking forward to putting it all back together! Ha
  3. Carbon wrap for a lot of the interior! Even the steering wheel is off now lol
  4. Oh Stuart what have you done! Is what my Mother in Law just said when she came round and saw this! Ha
  5. Awesome thanks I was planning on going with the Bilt Hamber one next and you've just made my decision easier!
  6. Any plans to do a snow foam test as I see a lot of people asking about which one is best
  7. I would but you need to be signed up, no one is having harsh words, he is actually a nice lad, just no idea of track etiquette! Out of interest, do you have to attend a brief to go on track for something like Japfest? Yes that's the annoying part, everyone had a brief before going on track so he clearly decided not to listen or to ignore.
  8. Now there's part of the problem,.. you weren't supposed to be racing.. :scare: I agree, I saw some shocking driving yesterday where there were 5 cars within 3 metres of each other trying to outbrake into the chicanes. Also there was far too many drivers who refused to move over and let a faster car through and just hugged the inside on every corner....a blue and black veilside body kitted RX7 was the worst offender I saw! Does this bring back memories Exactly, totally put me off non club sessions for other shows if I'm honest.
  9. I think if memory serves there is plenty of places to all park up in the driveway/entrance roads to hand then out. Just depends whereabouts they will be checking tickets
  10. I believe he said further up that he will give out the tickets at the event.
  11. I nearly put track day cars but isn't there a thread for them already?
  12. So I thought it would be good to have a thread about people cars that they use for various forms of Motorsport. Be it rallying, tin tops, drifting, GT style racing or hill climbing/sprints I'll start it off, This is my Sylva Phoenix fitted with a tuned Honda Fireblade 1000cc engine. Run in various Hillclimbing and Sprinting championships. Current stats are 180bhp at the wheels and a curb weight of just under 500kg. Running Avon slick tyres and a paddle shift sequential box. Won the overall Lifeline Championship last year based at Curborough and finished 2nd in class in the Midland Speed championship due to missing a round (grrr!!) Anyway some photos:
  13. Clean your car is where I've got mine from with a promo code from Detailing World Now watching Chemical Guys vids on YouTube ha good so far and good to see it in action.
  14. That guide is very useful, pretty much talks you through it.how important is it to tape up beforehand? Sure I've seen videos where they didn't.
  15. Haha I'm not buying it, we're on the way out of the recession now!
  16. Only joking have to be nice after that epic job on the divider
  17. I'll talk your round it over a pint Deal Although I assume you mean in Wales, not in pit lane at Donington Would we be able to tell any diff with your driving? ha
  18. Well I plan on watching many videos to see how it's done before I even pick it up. What would you call many passes? And a manageable area? (I'm guessing not a whole panel?)
