Just if anyone is interested in doing Route66 at some point, here is one from when I cheated on the Z last year doing Route 66 in a Stang and camero.

Practicing some editing ready for my epic drive in august. For some reason the video is really quiet so need to turn the speakers right up. I know what people are going to say about the lack of spacers on the wheels too but I want to keep it standard suspention wise after the fun of speed bumps etc I had with my S2000

Cobra. Its fitted slightly further back than what its supposed as I wasnt keen how they look usually. Took me a while deciding which one to get as I didnt want an ironing board on the back but I think the roadsters backside looks very plain without one when the roof is up.

This is my roadster. Only mods are the rear spoiler and exhaust

I do like that its fairly quiet at motorway speeds (no drone etc) and when you first set off it sounds good but then at higher speeds you cant really notice it for the wind/road noise. Probably for the best for day to day driving

Will this cause me any issues though? Sensors or anything?

Iv just got a scorpion back box fitted but its alot quieter than I thought it would be and want. will a Y piece make it much louder or have I just bought the wrong back box?

Having a nighmare with this. Twice I ordered the scorpion box (UK version) off 2 different sites that said they had them in stock and then acually never once id already paid and had to wait for a refund. Now I ordered the newer style scorpion and it came fully packaged up. I took it to a garage to get fitted and they took my old one off and started putting the box on without checking if all the parts were there first. Would you believe it, scorpion forgot to put the back pipe section in the box. Now Im without the car for the weekend while scorpion send me the part they didnt put in the first time. Wonder what next....

Took a Pic on my phone yesterday whilst blowing off the cobwebs. Just thought Id share it as I think it turned out a good picture.

I dont want it mega loud. Just louder than standard and loud enough to sound good blasting though tunnels as the OEM doesn't really give you that excited feeling when you drive it an doesn't bounce of the walls of tunnels. Iv listened to youtube videos but even the OEM pipe sounds loud on there. I need to here one in the flesh I suppose

Im looking into a scorpion back box for the Z as from what I here they are nice and quiet on long motorway drives and low revs. I was just wondering, when you give it some beans is it alot louder than the OEM system? Im doing a tunnel run through the alps in august and a girl Im seeing lives just the other side of the tyne tunnel to me so I get to blast through alot so i want to make sure its nice and loud when I want it to be and not just a little bit louder than the OEM I have now. I know I can put the Y pipe in if I need to but will I actually need to?

what about a remap?
