  1. For Sale -

Full set of 230 "Twist" Alloys. 19x8 front, 19x9 rear. Inlcluding almost* brand new tryes. Balanced and ready to go.

It is with some regret that I am having to part with my favourite set of wheels. They were originally bought to go on my 350z, but they ended up on a BMW instead.

They have only recently been removed from the car having only covered approx 200 miles during the summer months.

Tyres all round are virtually brand new, having only been fitted in April of 2015. The alloys themselves are in very good condition. The rear two being practically immaculate, the front two displaying some minor curbing (see pics)

I replaced one of the rear alloys a few months ago for a brand new one because it had been re-welded. Suffice to say, all four are now perfect.

    Tyres

Front - Pirelli Zeros. Almost brand new, loads of tread

Rear - Pirelli Zero and a Bridgestone Potenza - Almost brand new, loads of tread. (I'm aware of the mismatch, but they're still good tyres)

    Alloys

Front - 19x8. Very good condition, with some minor curb marks. No dents, cracks or re-welds!!

Rear - 19x9. Exceptional condition, exterior and interior. No dents, cracks or re-welds!!

Very rarely does a full set of these including tyres come up for sale. Especially not a set in such good condition and free of any dodgy weld jobs. I am open to offers around £750, so feel free to contact me. Courier service possible at buyers cost, collection welcomed from Durham.

Please contact me for additional pictures or information

    Thanks

    James.

  2. The 350z is better than the Z4 3.0 BUT the Z4 M is better than the 350z and the 370z to my mind. Will also hold its value better I should think.

I beg to differ. The two cars are essentially the same. Having test driven both, the only glaring difference is the fixed roof and the marginal 0.2 increase. The straight 6 still delivers a top speed of 155, but with a 0.5 reduction in 0-60 time. The preference between the two extends only as far as which do you prefer - The added extras afforded by the M package, or not. Either way, both are in a different league to the 350z, and I feel no shame in saying I adored my 350z.

  3. I used to own a 350z and now I own a Z4 3.0i with the aero bodykit and the Msport suspension and interior upgrades. I liked the 350z, but the BMW is in *my opinion* a far better car. Plus, I get to take the roof off when it's sunny :teeth:

  4. Cheers:) They seem to have a couple of nice ones at tradelink, but I'm not sure if I know enough about the company to warrant such a huge commute down to where they are. It's going to be awaiting game I think, until I find one I want.

    James:)

  5. Nine months after selling my 350z, I'm looking to get another one. The roar of the engine, the amazing road presence, given that it's the only car I have ever really regretted selling, I think it's a logical choice. Once I have shifted my R26, I'll be in a position to start shopping!

Quick question. When I was looking for a 350Z over a year ago, I was considering having a look at one at Tradelink, but at the time very few people had heard of them or knew if they had a good/bad reputation. Is this still the case or have things since changed?

    Cheers

    James:)

  6. Nice replacement, how does it feel when driven hard ? ( they are "supposed " to be The considerd the best hot hatch )

It sticks to the road like glue and powers through the corners like a go kart. It lacks the power in 5th / 6th that the 350 has, but still has plenty of punch.

  7. I sold my 350 last month because of a requirement for something with more seats. Not wanting to compromise on fun, I recently bought a Megane F1 R26, which is currently at stage 1. Although I'm having a lot of fun with it, it's a far different kind of car compared to the 350z which was a unique experience to say the least.

I just wanted to say thanks for the help and advice I received when I was originally looking to buy as well as the helpful responses to the several newb level questions I have asked over the course of my time here:)
