  1. No need for the wheel nuts now, bought some online. Still looking for rear discs and pads though.
  2. glrnet - Thanks mate, I tried him but he understandably doesn't want to split, can't say I blame him, that's a cracking price! Wasso - Cheers mate, I'm not after blue ones though - I've heard that there are a lot of fake ones knocking around, I'll have to be vigilant! Any one else?
  3. Hi all, Looks like I need to replace my rear discs and pads - whatever you have, OEM or aftermarket, hit me up. Brembo fitment please. Cheers all, Adam
  4. No longer after this as I rebuilt the motor myself and seems to be holding up ok Thanks guys. Mods please lock
  5. Do you mind me asking how much that was mrt? No worries if you'd rather not say
  6. Cheers guys, didn't realise Falcon did painting too... I'm down there in a week or so to get my banana arms replaced and polybushed, I'll give him a shout.
  7. Hi guys, Got some annoying rust bubbles coming through and was looking to take my car to a place called Alspray in Newcastle. Anyone used them before/heard anything about them? http://www.alspray.co.uk/ Cheers Adam
  8. GreenLandy - yeah had it apart, cleaned it, tried it again and it lived for about a week, then died. Then I tried to rebuild it but had to use the wrong brushes, ultimately didn't work. I've just got the correct brushes yesterday so I'll try rebuilding again. I'll update the thread with results Kinabalu - I'd never thought about that option mate, might go that way if the rebuild doesn't work.
  9. Still looking for this, anyone?
  10. Well this is the second time I've posted a wanted ad for one of these, but it's gone again. Anyone got a UK passenger window motor from a low mileage breaker? Not really after a new one. Cheers Adam
  11. So I tried listening through a screwdriver, focused on the fuel pressure regulators - the passenger side one (one I had just replaced) was way louder than the driver side one.. Is that normal?
  12. Ah right, what was their main complaint? Too raspy?
  13. Thought I'd resurrect this thread as I totally forgot to post a video. I had my Borla True Dual exhaust fitted, and had the mid pipe resonators replaced with straight pipes. Given that this system is lots of smaller pipes that slip together, I had the majority of these welded up to prevent leaks. I absolutely love the sound - it's really subtle under 3k rpm, a little beefier than stock, but then when you open it up it sings. Please excuse the poor instagram video quality, its the only decent video I have so far! https://instagram.com/p/t6Fae6yeFV/?modal=true Here's a better video of a guy with practically the same setup (I have JWT popcharger rather than Injen CAI), but it sounds almost exactly the same. This video is actually what inspired me to go with this setup Next I'm considering HFCs, and plenum spacer before getting the Uprev remap. Cheers! Adam
  14. Until I have a chance to listen with a ghetto screwdriver-stethoscope, has anyone else had a similar issue to this? Any help would be brilliant
  15. Sorted with these now thanks everyone - Went through Mitz @ Cougar Store - excellent service and a great price. I'd also like to add that I have always had great experiences with traders on this forum; every single one of whom was professional, helpful and courteous. I think sometimes we can forget how good this community is; how mature and happy to help the vast majority of its members are compared to many other enthusiast forums. Just my two pence worth. Mods feel free to lock this thread.
  16. No not yet mate, I'll give it a go.
  17. Hi guys, I know this topic has come up before, but I've never found a thread with any kind of closure, or with my exact circumstances, so please excuse me if this has been discussed before. I noticed a ticking coming from behind my engine a few weeks ago. It's not overly loud, and I can only hear it with the bonnet open, but it was annoying me nonetheless, so I did some research and read a lot of threads and came across people saying it could be the fuel pressure regulators. I felt them both to see if they pulsed in time with the engine tick, and it felt like the passenger one did exactly that, so I ordered one from Zmanalex (excellent as always), and with some trepidation, replaced it myself. To my dismay, this didn't get rid of the ticking. I have uploaded a video of the sound as it is now, with the passenger fuel pressure regulator replaced: Does anyone have any ideas? Should I replace the driver's side (primary?) fuel pressure regulator? Is it noisy injectors? Will this ticking, whatever it is, cause any damage or be indicative of previous damage? I should add that my oil level is fine, and the oil was replaced only a few thousand miles ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers
  18. Sorted with this now thanks, mods please lock
  19. Well, that escalated quickly. Thanks for the replies guys, I've sent a few PMs to traders.
  20. Hi all, Looking for tarmac side steps and nismo style rear spats, preferably used in good condition. For the spats, I've had some of fibreglass ones before and the fitment wasn't great - I'm basically looking for better quality ones that fit well, so I can paint and fit them myself. Cheers Adam
  21. Hi all, As the title says, I'm after a SuperPro poly bush kit for the front compression arms - I'm having to replace both arms due to shot ball joints, so I figure I might as well upgrade to poly bushes at the same time. I was hoping someone might have a set for sale, or could point me in the direction of a good price. Cheers Adam
  22. Damnit would have had those carbon mirror covers... Gotta be fast on here!
  23. Bought both front suspension corners from Shades, arrived super quickly and well packaged. +1 for the good service
  24. Apologies for the thread resurrection, but did you ever find out what this was and how to fix it? My engine had just started to make the exact same noise...
