  1. Hi all - after a set of hubcentric wheel spacers, either Eibach or H&R, 20 or 25mm please. Cheers Adam
  2. Hi, I paid over £100 for them, bought them from Nengun and had them imported - so add import duty/tax on top of that. I had them on my Z with the GT Rays - no close up pics I'm afraid, but they're black and look cool on.
  3. Hi all, Now the Z has gone I have these for sale. Genuine Rays, imported from Japan - lighter and look awesome. Excellent condition. Includes locking nuts and key £70 + £5 p&p Cheers. Adam
  4. Yeah I've had quotes from the GTR shop (who I actually bought my GTR from) and JM Imports - JM Imports was a pretty cheap quote and I'm not sure how thorough a job they could do in the short time they said they'd need. GTR shop quote is very expensive, they said they'd need 3 days, and I've no doubt they'll do a good job but I have no relative quote to compare it to. I've used Falcon before when I had the Z, but didn't know they did undersealing - anyone had there's done with them?
  5. Hi all, Sorry if this is in the wrong forum area, but I'm looking for somewhere to get my R33 GTR undersealed in the North East or even possibly further afield - I'm looking for somewhere reputable that actually cares, rather than somewhere cheap that will slap a bit of waxoyl on in a hour and be done with it. Any suggestions folks? Cheers Adam
  6. Sold to SRaven this morning. Top guy, she's gone to a good home
  7. Yeah but the drive back would be waaaaay more interesting haha. Keep me in mind if you don't find anything local mate... . Sometimes you need to branch out a little further than you'd like for a good specimen. A few Gs of mods on this already too.
  8. Are you in Stoke? Only a 3hr drive away if so
  9. Price Drop - £5200 Or £5000 without the D1 Spec throttle controller and Kenwood double Din. Would come with original Bose stereo with iPod hack fitted in this case.
  10. Thanks guys . Car is now up on Pistonheads: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350z-v6-gt-pack-in-chili-red/6154623?v=c
  11. New working-week bump. Any interest before I put her on Pistonheads? I'd much prefer it go to someone on the forums...
  12. Yeah man, even with some Hawkig-esque maths I couldn't make it work haha... I added a video to the advert so you can see the exhaust is nice and subtle at idle and slight revs.
  13. Cheers everyone ☺ I'm hopefully moving onto a R33 GTR
  14. Hi everyone, It is with genuine sorrow that I offer up for sale my 2003 350z GT in Chili Red. I’ve owned the car for three and a half years, and I really do love it and would love to keep it, but I have the opportunity of owning something of a childhood dream car, and as much as I’ve tried with my man-maths calculations, I can’t afford to have both, so it’s with sadness that the Z has to go. It’s the GT model, so has Bose audio, cruise control, heated black leather seats, Xenons etc. It also has the lighter GT Rays alloys and Brembo brakes. 108,000 Miles - Mostly motorway miles, and the odd jaunt out around the Lake District; it’s had a relatively easy life. This will rise as it is my daily driver. It has full service history and a stack of receipts going back to the original owner. Always ran on Shell V Power Nitro+, and never tracked or drifted. Modifications Borla true dual exhaust system from cats back, with mid-pipe resonators removed and replaced with straight pipe (sounds epic). Subtle when driving slowly or around town, but really comes alive when you put your foot down. I haven’t heard of another Z in this country with this setup. I’ve added sound clip links below: https://www.instagra...dudleyart&hl=en DBA T2 Street series grooved discs on the front (brand new), with Ferodo 2500 pads (loads of pad left). Rear MTEC dimpled and grooved discs with Brembo pads. Will also throw in a spare set of front Ferodo 2500s I have. Eibach spacers, 20mm front, 25mm rear D1 Spec Throttle controller V3 (probably my favourite mod, really sharpens up the throttle response) JWT Popcharger (Recently recharged with K&N recharge kit – will include what’s left in sale) Mines style front splitter from Tarmac Sportz in gloss black Carbon Fibre side steps from Tarmac Sportz Nismo N1 style rear spats, colour coded to car SuperPro poly bushed front lower control arms (Handles a lot better with these, feels more planted and turn in is improved) Kenwood Double DIN touchscreen stereo – DVD/Bluetooth etc Rear bumper tuck (achieved with cable ties so can be easily returned to normal if you prefer.) Luggage net Stubby Aerial 2 keys Red LED cabin lighting in footwells – more subtle than in sounds, can be easily removed if it’s not to your tastes. Some more info Two brand new tyres on the rear, Goodyear Eagle F1 Eagle Asymmetrical 3s. Cats and O2 sensors replaced when the Borla exhaust went on, so you don’t need to worry about those. Will come with two almost full spare front corners, minus lower control arms. These were bought as a donor set for the control arms, and the rest has sat in the garage – low mileage shocks/springs etc. MOT is due in October, but I will put it through its MOT before selling so you will have the full 12 months. Bad points It’s a great car, but like most cars its age, it has a few points that are unfortunately in need of attention: A few rust bubbles are starting to show on the arches. Pin head sized on the near side front and off side rear. Near side rear has 5p size bubble towards to back of the panel where it meets the rear bumper. Off side front has a small patch mid-arch. Repairing these should cost a few hundred pounds, and this is reflected in the asking price. Being 13 years old it has the usual stone chips and tiny car park dings (like this when I bought the car, I always park as far away from other people as possible) Ideally due a service. Its last service was at Falcon Performance and was quite extensive. Previous services where at Atkin Motors in Malton, North Yorkshire. One of the exhaust tips has a slight dent. It was like this when I bought it and has never bothered me. It really is an awesome car. It’s great fun to drive, especially with the mods, and it always turns heads. I’ve put around £3500 into it since I’ve had it, and it’s taken me a while to get it to a stage where I think it looks and sounds way cooler than stock but is still subtle. £5500 Price Drop - £5200 Or £5300 £5000 without the D1 Spec throttle controller and Kenwood double Din. Would come with original Bose stereo with iPod hack fitted in this case. No time wasters or low-ballers please. I’m based in Sunderland/Newcastle. Thanks for looking. Adam
  15. TBH I've always preferred the R33 to the R32 - personal taste and all that. How did you guys find it regarding reliability etc?
  16. Going to do a bit of a thread revival here gents, but I'm also thinking of moving from my Z to an R33 GTR - can you guys comment on how the R33 feels compared to a 350z? Someone also mentioned Going with JM Imports rather than the GTR Shop - has the GTR shop got a bad rep or something? I've been chatting with the guy there and was going to go with them for importing one...
  17. Cheers for all the replies and the help folks, much appreciated. I should have replaced my fronts a while ago so I'll get that done and see if it stops. Thanks again
  18. Thanks Ekona, interesting read. I totally understand the idea, and yes ideally I would have upgraded both front and rear with the Eagle F1s if I had the coin atm. StevoD - the fronts are quite worn, I'll be changing them soon. To be honest, it didn't feel like a traction issue, I wasn't slipping or understeering at all, and I've activated the TC plenty of times, this just didn't feel like it. But again I could be wrong. I think there might be something going on with the rear right brake disc/pads, because I'm getting a rhythmic buzzing noise when I'm braking (I have mtec dimpled and grooved rear discs and brembo pads, both around 14months old, and the sound is definitely from that wheel). I thought it was just the grooves being noisy but now with this i'm not so sure.
  19. Hi all, I checked the tyre pressure last night and it was 35 for both rear tyres (35 in fronts too). I've upped the rears to 37 and it seems to have helped alleviate some of the wobbles I was feeling. Are the Goodyear Eagle F1s noted for having softer tyre walls? I had Falkens on the rear previously and never felt anything like this. I've also thankfully had no further lock-up incidents, but then again I haven't been pushing it as much as yesterday as a precaution.
  20. Haha yeah I'd like to avoid trees ideally. The strange thing is that I've put the car through way more than this around the hartside pass etc, both with traction control on and off, and never felt anything like this. I'll check tyre pressures etc and report back. Thanks again for all the suggestions
  21. Hi guys, thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm running the standard tyre sizes on the GT Rays wheels, new rears are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3s, 245/45 r18 - fronts are Falkens, can't remember which model. I didn't notice if the traction control light came on when it happened unfortunately. It was a dry road too. I've checked the wheel nuts and they weren't as tight as I would have done them myself (approx 110-115 nm), they needed around an 1/8 to a 1/6 of an additional turn to tighten them to that measurement with my torque wrench. I haven't checked the tyre pressures yet, and I did think it could be that especially when I first noticed that it felt a bit unsettled - I'll check that tonight after work.
