  1. Thanks, and yeah some pics of the Greddy would be ace! Going off google images it still might be a bit chunkier than i'm after... dont wanna have to fit bigger skirts just to balance it out.... but be great to see how yours looks!
  2. John! I've bought one I've put a couple of the dealer pics on my other thread. Was the second one ive viewed (first being a joke at the dreaded keighley trade centre.... i expected a dog and found a dog!). My other half is a mechanic and he checked it all over so fingeds crossed ive found a good one!
  3. What do you need to do, simply just heat the area or do you need to use any other tools to re-form it / mould it or anything? Thanks
  4. Cheers for the info! How do you go about doing the repairs? Are you pretty much needing to melt the plastic just enough to get rid of the scratches somehow?
  5. Thanks Steve. If not, do you know of any other lips for under £200 that aren't HUGE? Seen a few on ebay for around a hundred but the edges are very pronounced and wide, and no idea on fitting and quality!
  6. Brilliant thanks Hennerz. Please update when you hear anything!
  7. I've heard back from Steve, unfortunately they have stopped supplying these lips despite still advertising on their website. I've asked Steve to look out for any others that might fit the bill
  8. Hmm sounds interesting as I have a few on the plastics at the bottom inside of drivers door panel too. Any more info on this would be a good read! Thanks KyleR I've sent him a quick message
  9. Hello Picking up my 350z next weekend fingers crossed. Its not got the sat nav, but the cover / door panel that covers the gap is very scratched and just wondered how easy it would be to source a replacement? Nothing on ebay. Another option would be wrapping it. Is it easy to remove the panel? Obviously not looked properly at the release yet as I haven't picked it up yet Not too keen on the carbon look, so again wrapping isn't a great option. Also wouldn't want to do the whole dash so the wrap would have to tie in with the rest of the original dash. The scratches seem quite fine but loads of them, more so down at the bottom underneath the opening button. So maybe they would polish out a bit with something? Any ideas would be great thanks! Louisa
  10. The Veilside one looks spot on, thanks S1 HNK. Will try find one somewhere and see how they're priced.
  11. RT- Performance - bit bigger than I was wanting but does that drop the height of the bumper by a long way? Cheers
  12. Hello, done a quick search for a similar thread so sorry if something similar has already come up! I've paid a deposit on my 350z in Gunmetal with OEM bumper, collecting in a few weeks. Been looking at front lips already Basically on the front bumper passenger side there is a vey fine but down to the primer white scratch about 6" long thats not too noticeable but i'd like it sorting if possible. So at the same time figured it'd be a good idea to think about a front lip? Would prefer something a tad more subtle than the deeper Nismo style ones (don't mind these but as I won't be going to town with the visual mods -yet- i'd rather keep it subtle) , and ideally nearer the cheaper £100 end than £200 upwards! Also undecided if it would look better painted gloss black (planning a black roof perhaps in the future too) which I like the way it blends into the black grille, or if better painted gunmetal along with the bumper. decisions!! If anyone has any suggestions or images to help then it'd be brilliant thanks Here's mine currently- pic stolen from dealer site: Edited to add: preferably something simple to fit too! seen quite a few that use trim tape to attach the centre then bolts, without the need for trimming or bending or cutting. thanks!
  13. Thanks guys, discovered a chap in Carnforth which is only 25mins from me who does coachwork and upholstery so have sent him a message So so so excited already so its going to be a very long week indeed!
  14. Hello all! As you know I've been looking for a nice affordable 350z to pop up and this weekend one did, within 50 miles of home too! Paid a nice big deposit... Just need to wait a couple of weeks now for a cheque to arrive and clear, then I'm ready to go get her! Anyway its a 2004 GT with 73,000 miles, gunmetal with Rays alloys, Brembos and full dealer history, black leather! Will update with some nice pictures when I collect One small issue- the front driver side seat bolster has some scratches and tiny tear in it- looks like a dog has scraped with its claws and slightly torn through the leather and scuffed the area around it (about 2" long by 1" wide area) which is the only real flaw. Doesn't overly bother me but if anyone knows of anybody handy with upholstering in the North West / Lakes who could replace and repair that one section of leather (its only the small single piece on the upper bolster thats affected) it'd be interesting to see how much they'd want! So yes, a very happy girl! Gunmetal was on par with Azure for my favourite colour so its worked out quite well
  15. Today is Thursday, the big day! You driven it yet?
  16. Will be quite sad to see it go yeah! Its the first vehicle I've had which has had its own character. There will still be a T5 in the household though which is currently getting pimped! Was imported from Ireland last may (what a pain in the ass that was!) and finally registered just before Xmas so it now sports some 20" range rover sport alloys, surfboard roof rack, carpeted, lino floor, Eberspacher heater and a R+R bed! Awaiting delivery of the cabinets next and we're good to go! Having two vans between us hasn't been the most practical arrangement so will be lovely to have a 350z!
  17. Do it! You only live once eh I don't even own one yet and have a list of to-do's to make it mine!
  18. Still unable to message you for some reason! Could you please either pop me a message with your email or something? Thanks!
  19. Did you go and see it? Any thoughts? Its pretty close to me, could do with being about a grand cheaper to make it realistic for me, mind!
  20. The rear bumper definitely looks a bit strange to me too. Not smooth and glossy like it should be? Some strange marks round the parking sensor too, unless its just old polish residue...
  21. I've been looking at the same car too- out of my budget by looooads but its pretty nice. in the "details" photo album on the picture with the parking sensor in it, does the paintwork look at bit odd to you? Looks almost like its had a resprayed bumper and the parking sensor hasn't been taped off. Or is this just me? £1000 reduction..... Its a large amount to drop a car by!
