I've had the Millers dinner (ploughman's) and can recommend it so lunch is still my choice, might even have a cheeky scone afterwards if I have the space...

Does anyone ever regret posting things on here?

I started this topic with an article and picture of what could be the next gtr, I personally liked the styling and thought I'd share it with the group with the intention of some discussion over its looks rather than what it has become, i.e. what bollocks my local Nismo guy is apparently talking and the details of hybrid systems and how achievable they are at present in either LMP or F1.

For those of you caught up in this, it was not my intention and I shall in future curtail my need to share such articles and keep my thoughts to myself.

So you think they will release the car, then, start thinking about training all the thousands of technicians around the world? Of course they will need to start the training program way in advance of its release if cars go wrong on day one they will need the know how to fix them and with the hybrid systems onboard its not going to be a 1 hr webinar...

Nismo technicians at the local dealership were talking about it a few weeks back, said they needed training on the hybrid systems and said they had been told by Nissan they would be in by 2018.

The new pics certainly look more like a production model than the concept shown last year.

My zed is SORNd over winter but comes out to play in April, that gives us 7 months to plan...

There has also been some interest in a bude to newquay coastal run... Possibly one for next year?

I did call japspeed today too, they said possibly 6-8 weeks. Trouble is I want something nice for the devon regional run across Dartmoor in September...

If bradders mate hasnt got one im guessing it might have to be a choice between a k4 or an unresonated cobra? Decisions decisions....

Yea, have been ringing around, plenty of K4s on shelves, but, looking on YouTube, the k4 sounds quieter...?

I know that many, MANY people hate the K1, but I just fancy trying something a bit lairy for a while, I really dont want subtle , the car is a summer only weekend toy so I can put up with any droning on the short(ish) fun runs I usually do and previous Trans-Ams and Mustangs have been lived with happily on straight pipes or cherry bombs.

However in looking around noone has them in stock and it looks like they might be discontinued.

Does anyone know if a new (or a second hand) one is around that isn't too far from the west country if it needs collecting, or anywhere else if it can be posted?

350zRDev and I planned the route today and trialled it, the route skirts around the moor for the most part as the roads are better, and quieter, and still have great views of Dartmoor all along. After a quick trip across the middle of Dartmoor, the route ends at a really nice hotel on the edge of the moor, with plenty of parking, for a spot of lunch @ £10pp, a posh ploughman's I can thoroughly recommend (www.millendhotel.com).

Covering about 70 miles of routes not found on the usual tourist trails, it'll take about two and a half hours, with everyone staying within the limits and being courteous to other road users, and there are lots of spectacular views throughout.

Full details will be pm'd but as previously arranged we meet and start at Exeter services at 11:00 on Sunday the 6th of September.

The nismo trained specialists in my dealership have been brilliant, always know what to look for and have had some great advice. car was in limp mode a few weeks ago and in the time I walked round to the service desk they had read the codes found the throttle potentiometer had failed and offered to have a new one fitted by next morning. They also upgrade and look after a number of heavily modded cars including a 1100hp gtr that they had done all the work to and loads of upgraded zeds.

I've been very happy with them.
