Lycan, you are the Cornish contingent so where shall we meet you and where are we grabbing coffee and or breakfast?
-
Can you get onto the airfield, or do you mean the museum?
-
Paul, are we collecting you along the way?
-
What's the parking like, the lodge usually has quite a bit of space?
Did also think about the place underneath fifteen overlooking Watergate bay? Parking on the other side of the road is v easy

Ok, better start planning this in a little more detail.
From where I am (Okehampton) its a 50 min run to Bude through some cracking countryside, from there its an hour down the west coast highway (A39) to Newquay going past Wade bridge, port issac (Doc Martin TV fame) , padstow (Rick Steins village), Bodmin and Watergate bay (Jamie Olivers place). Its a lovely run down with some great views of the Atlantic along the way.
The recent good weather is due to turn on sunday afternoon so to be in Newquay for 11:30 we need to leave okehampton (whiddon down services) at 9:30. If anyone is coming from further up country and doesn't know the area, I could meet at Exeter services at 9 if no one replies it'll be 9:30 dep at Oke.
See you on sunday.

If its just scratched the clear coat, which it looks like it has, you can touch in the lacquer.
Remove any wax or polish that is now in the grooves of the scratch with some spirit, tar and glue remover or acetone. Buy some lacquer and thin it down so its like water, then very carefully fill in the scratch using thin layers and a very fine brush, let each coat dry and build up the groove slowly. Only get the lacquer in the groove dont let it build up on the edges around the groove. Let it all dry, then polish the bumper and it should be almost invisible.

Got my unresonated cobra from the Cougar store through the forum, great service and fit and wish I had fitted it 7 years ago when I got the car. Love it and the loud pedal never sounded so good, just wish I could stop stamping on it though as the fuel economy, such as it was, has really gone to @*!#! Ha ha!

Was thinking of coffee or brunch in Newquay around 11:30, which would mean leaving Exeter at 9:30 and Okehampton just before 10.

Sunday 4th it is then.
Anyone from Cornwall that can reccomend a nice place to stop for b/fast with descent parking and a nice view of the beach/sea?
If not we can go with the Lewinnic lodge?

Sorry guys been away from the forum for a few days as we've just sold the house and starting to pack. Looks like this really will be the only chance to take the zed out before winter so I'm in. We only have 3 weeks till moving day so I have to try and find somewhere to move into on Saturday, so Sunday morning is the only slot I have.

Does no one from Cornwall want to meet us there and maybe plan a different route from the west?

European zed run in 2016...?
-
Couldn't agree more, love driving the roads in southern Europe, try the pyranees if you get chance too, France to Spain through Andorra is great fun.

I know its officially autumn but the weather is usually still good(ish) until October (when my zed gets sorn'd for the winter). I'd like to get another run out in it before then and I always love the route from Okehampton to Bude and along the Atlantic coast highway from Bude to Newquay maybe for something to eat or drink at the great Lewinnic lodge.
Possibly early Oct, anyone up for it?

shame you missed a great run out across dartmoor last weekend. See you at the next Devon meet.

We'll take your advice, don't know where it is, so where do we meet you and you can lead?
