  1. Just wanted to add my thanks for this guide, followed it exactly, gave the motor and bushes a good clean and hey presto, the window works perfectly again! Should add that I don't normally attempt anything as technical as this, but this guide gave me the confidence to do it, felt like Ed China out of wheeler dealers after
  2. I know this comes up a lot, but there are so many different guides that I've looked through, both on here and the US sites. Problem is the window went all the way down and doesn't move back up at all. Am I right in saying that the reset procedure always mentioned on here is not going to work, since it isn't working at all? and therefore I need to access the motor to clean up as a fix or buy a replacement? I took off the door card and then started undoing some of the bolts on the door panel but stopped as I suddenly realised that wasn't needed for the reset procedure, but now thinking the reset can't work as the glass is stuck at the bottom. Any advice as to what I need to do would be welcome, I've put the car away in the garage and will sort it out at the weekend.
  3. This morning at about 10.30am, petrol station in Church Cookham, one sunset Orange one gunmetal
  4. Agreed, seems very much personal opinion. I would say the car felt slightly more stable with them on due to wider track, but not as fun to drive for me.
  5. Right an update. I've had the spacers removed, I still wasn't happy with them even after the wheel alignment and as I will potentially do a few trackdays so wanted them off. The feels much better to drive now they are off, the car feels more alive, particularly the steering which feels more alert and responsive. I won't be putting them on a car again, they really dulled the driving experience for me, caused more tramlining plus concerns about additional stress on wheel bearings mean they are not for me. I can understand why people put them on, they make the car look great, and my wheels do now look totally lost inside the arches
  6. Thanks for all the interest, really want these collected rather than having to post as difficult for me to get them to a post office or arrange a courier pick up. Still available if someone can collect.
  7. Selling these as a set of 4, including 2 x 20mm spacers and 2 x 25mm spacers. Genuine Eibach items, purchased from one of the forum traders last year. They were brand new and fitted in September 2013, and have covered approximately 3000 miles since. Very good condition, marks you can see are residue copper grease. They were professionally fitted and removed by TGM sport in Fleet. £150 collected from Fleet, Hampshire. Any questions just let me know.
  8. Had black badges driving towards Hartley Wintney, I was in an Audi not Zed, must have been around 4/5 pm
  9. yep, think you're right about that
  10. Thanks all for responses, had a bit of a search and there seem to many different opinions on brakes. As for tyres I have Falkens on it at the moment, which I suspect won't be great, but will be happy to see how they perform as they have quite a bit of tread left!
  11. I've had my Zed since August last year and until recently hadn't really gelled with it. But over the past couple of weekends I've had some great drives in it, including up to the pistonheads sunday service at Silverstone yesterday. I think I just didn't get enough time or have the weather over the winter to drive it enough. Anyway I'm tempted to take it on track to see if that gives me more use out of the car. I don't intend to be setting any lap times in it, more just a chance to drive the car quickly and learn some different tracks. I've tracked Type-R's before, and compared to these the Zed is a heavy beast. I just want it to perform reasonably well and not have any issues on track such as brake fade. Therefore as a starter I intend to get braided brake lines and new pads and discs up front. It had new pagid discs and brembo pads fitted last year and haven't been that impressed with them on the road, so can't see them doing very well on track. Are Ferodo DS2500 pads and DBA 4000 discs up to it? I don't want to spend more money on brakes only to find they can't cope with a couple of track days a year. Also, I have Motul RBF600 fluid, does this cope ok with track use? It's recently had a proper wheel alignment and full service, is there anything else I should be doing before taking it on track? Also any advice from people who have tracked their 350z would be very welcome
  12. Easier for others to read now Thanks! Yes i've read that the brembos can squeak when hot, but the low speed squeak when turning the brakes are not applied, just worse when they are applied. I think I will get them checked out and if necessary change the pads. Is there any squeaking with Ferodo DS2500?
  13. So for a while now I've been getting an annoying squeaking noise from the front of the car at low speed. But this only happens at low speed, under 15mph, when manouvering around a car park etc. It was most noticeable when turning slightly left and must be something to do with the wheel area as the squeak comes and goes as the wheel rotates. It's now getting worse and the brakes are now squeaking when applied, again at low speed and also only when warm after approximately 20 min of driving. I'm guessing that the 1st squeak must be related to the 2nd and the brakes. It had new pagid discs and brembo pads fitted (with shims) last August so they can't need replacing already. Any ideas? It's getting annoying!
  14. Update - after a very busy couple of months I got the car serviced and had a four wheel allignment check and adjustment by TGM, the allignment was out slightly and the car feels much better than it did although only had a brief drive so far. Been so long since the spacers were fitted that I can't really remember what it was like before but will take it for a proper drive at the weekend.
  15. Yesterday on Reading road North, you acknowledged me but I was too slow
  16. I did wonder that, but both front drop links were replaced last year.
  17. Very nice, don't understand why Red wasn't more popular.
  18. My 350Z has developed an annoying squeaking noise, but it only seems to occur when turning left at lowish speeds (less than 20mph. I'm going to get a garage to investigate, but any thoughts to what this could be to limit how much time they take looking at it? Suspect something to do with wheels/suspension due to it only happening when turning left.
  19. Don't tell me that, might change my mind!! I've had quite a bit of interest in these, but not had a definitive buyer yet to collect. Will consider the offers with postage involved after a couple more days.
  20. sorry! updated for location, Fleet Hampshire
  21. I bought these in a previous group buy but have since decided I like the standard sound, so selling these still in their packaging completely unused and brand new complete with the gaskets and bolts. They are for the DE engine. I don't really have the time to deal with couriers at the moment so would prefer the buyer to collect. If I don't get any interest with this then I will look into delivery options. Asking £340 collected. Located in Fleet Hampshire, just off junction 4A of the M3

I have some brand new Berks, bought them in the last group buy but have not fitted as I've decided to stick with the standard sound. Obviously they are new so won't be a bargain price, but let me know if interested. Located in north Hampshire.
  23. For those who are interested, I had the problem diagnosed, it was a cam sensor that needed replacing and had caused all 3 warning lights, it's been replaced and car now starts promptly and seems a bit more responsive than before.
