Mine is an 06, it doesn't have the storage part built into the trim as seen in the painted picture. That would be super hard to wrap! We did use a lot of hairdryer and stretchy techniques.

My current to do list is: Interior LED lights. Rear window tints. Wheel refurb to satin black. Door handle spray to black. Clear reflectors. Clear rear flood light cluster. Spacers! After all that's done it'll be on to the bigger more mechanical/performance stuff I'm sure.

Any time The painting seems to be a much easier option, looking at the guide. It's not a very wrap friendly shape but if you take your time it does give a nice finish that is much harder to damage. You can always take it off and experiment with different wraps too

Thanks guys The 3M wrap I used was from Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152-x-60cm-CA ... e6e&_uhb=1 I bought the car from a guy but it has had 3 previous owners and I'm willing to bet one of them was a woman with outrageous jewelry.... or a gangsta that never took his knuckle duster off...

Hard to tell from the photo, is it that black mark just right of the front wheel? If it was me I'd have it re-sprayed, you'd also get rid of some stone chips in the process I'm sure. But that's just me I had bad surface scratches on my previous car an never had them fixed but they always got on my nerves.

Good move on the wash turn down, mine was washed before I picked it up... re-washed and detailed it as soon as I could Looks great, enjoy!

So I ordered some of the 3M wrap mentioned above and with the help of fellow Zed bro fxn we went to work on wrapping my damaged window control panel. I bought the car a week an a half ago and this was the worst cosmetic damage. Here's how it went... The panel after we eventually got it out the car... wasn't fun as you can see the soft rubber was heavily chipped. Two and a half hours later we had wrapped our first thing ever! Very happy with the results, its not perfect but a huge improvement. Then back in the car Passenger door panel next! Does anyone know of an easy way to wrap the clip button on the center console lid? It's made of the same shoddy soft rubber and is similarly chipped.

Hi all, I've now had my Zed for one week and I've got to say it's just awesome, having driven an RX-8 for 3 years I wasn't expecting such a huge difference but the Zed just feels so much smoother, immensely more responsive and substantially faster! So.... mods. I never really bothered with the RX but I'm showing early symptoms of zeditis already... Here are the pics so far. Hat tip to Steve 350z for getting bits over to me so quick Full detail and new stubby aerial fitted. Shiny Black aluminium Nismo knob Brief engine bay clean up (it was full of cobwebs...) Time to carry on down the slippery slope... Cheers.

Hi all, Just about to start the hunt for my first 350, a close friend of mine (fxn) purchased his today. I've been driving/drifting around an RX-8 for the last 3 years and as fun as it's been it's time for a change. My first car was a Nissan so I'm looking forward to coming home Anyway, time to continue the search!
