20 minutes ago, Kryptek49 said:Yeah I do like having Cruise Control - i was thinking I'd reallocate it to in between the overhead dome lights (remove the buttons and then cut slots for them to fit into the existing blank plastic piece) and move the phone call push buttons to the spare heated seat button (getting rid of volume and seek functions as I've never used these).
Could work pretty well if I can do it - might get a few custom pieces 3D printed so it looks professional.
The re-trimmed wheel does look nice - but the airbag which most people won't re-trim is a bit of an eyesore.
That's a nice looking wheel - there's so many choices though it's hard to pick without feeling each one - are there any shop's in the UK that sell various aftermarket wheels?
I will say like with tyres steering wheels you get what you pay for the construction of something from nardi or personal is miles higher than what I have seen from NRG for example

I'm stuck between getting my wheel re-trimmed by Royal Steering Wheels or getting an NRG Quick Release Hub & Wheel - do you think an aftermarket wheel is a better choice than just re-trimming the original then?
Personal neo grinta best wheel I have ever owned

I had the 453 and the old mpss on my z and the 453 didn't come close to the mpss
I have driven an is200 on 510s and it was OK not really the car I could test them out as such. If there was £100 difference in a set of 510 or the mps4s, I would be going mps4s

£600 for the hydro is a lot when it can be done for £150.
When I say angle mods, I'll start out with the rack spacers but eventually yh I will be looking at a full angle kit@docwra would be a good person to talk to
-
I wouldn't believe the name.
It's not about what a wheel is made from its the process.

Heavy wheels suck donkey dick.
At a minimum now I would be looking at rotary forged/flow formed wheels now
With stuff from 2 forge or konig being so cheap I wouldn't even consider any typical gravity cast wheels

So if we do leave with no deal and if we look to be fairing ok, do you think others would follow?
Is brexit not so much doing best for UK to you more, your all for ****ing up the EUs day?
Genuine question as reading back a lot of your points are more, yea but the EU will be worse off rather than the UK will be better off?
I wonder how many leavers voted to stick it to the EU appose to creating a better UK
-
And if your going into drifting thinking £600 is expensive oh boy
My average day can cost over that now

After the brackets though and the callipers etc it's knocking on £600 with the hydro included. Id rather put that money towards angle mods and an oil cooler. This is my first drift build so I don't want to destroy the wallet anymore than I already have
If its your first drift car you don't need angle mods

Although imagine how funny it would be if all these European companies that invest money and run vast amounts of our airports/trains/energy/post services etc
decided on 30th march to pull all their assets out of the country and stop operating in the UK how ****ed we would be

Not what the remaoners and even you keep telling us on this thread, apparently they hold all the cards, maybe not......
no but the people stuck in 1912 would happily let us sink our economy just to damage theirs.

i would honestly wait and save for a dual caliper kit the one from enjuku allows a non brembo caliper to be used as the spare can be picked up quite cheap

Doesnt look like the EU is doing Germany & France much good as according to many sources they are both on the brink of recession.
Probably because so much of their investment is in the UK and we are about to go start the shock wave

320+ bhp in the early nineties pushed it higher up in the game than the current one does

Brexit again

Ultimately
Remains will say its brexit
Leavers will say its could/would of happened anyway
We hit a point in 2016 where the country was and will always be split. We now have decades of its brexit fault/ it would have happened regardless.
And the same people will bat the same side and nothing actually progressive happens.
