  1. Sounds good, poss weather dependant as no fun in the rain with roof down. We could always head up to mendip raceway for stock car / banger racing. £12 each and starts 1.00pm. Bangers are only up to 1800cc on Monday but I think there is a Robin Relient race as well. Just a thought.
  2. Toad, found a fix posted by off shore drifter.

Couldnt paste link on forum so pm'd you. Its under 350z FAQ s "boot pop fix" Adjusts the latch so now you have removed the weight and fitted new springs you might have to watch out opening the boot doesnt end in you being knocked out.

  3. We had mice in our loft, noise was driving me mad at night. Looked on youtube for some clever homemade traps but found shop bought snap traps the best. Smeared with peanut butter because it is sticky and can't be lifted off trap. Positioned boxes etc in run areas to guide mice towards traps. Also used bait boxes for a while but not ideal as the poisened mouse can go up the food chain. Intalled a few smalll wireless cameras so I can check traps without having to go into loft. Cameras also have motion detection and monitor has built in memory so can also record and view which pest is up there. Most spy camera places could help. All this would apply to rats but obviously bigger traps. Loads of websites to help you identify droppings.

  4. Chop chop rise and shine. Great venue thanks chop top and pictures are brilliant thanks toad. Starting to get to know people know and thats where friendship starts. Really enjoyed today and looking forward towards next bash. Perhaps next time pm Rich when we set off so he can join in........

  5. lol - no but bloody good excuse to get one, I race on my PC - but tbh since I got the Z I don't really need computer games to get my car buzz

I dont mean to race, just to mod and view. May give you an idea of what you really want. If you google "scrungedale forza" you can see the hideous Caddy I tarted up. Could make your Z virtual first and post it here for opinions. :D
  6. Hello Seasider,

Can I ask what CRC is and was it much of a job to clean MAF sensor / sender?

Also have JWT filters so found this post very helpful thanks.

    Cheers

    Lovie.

Thanks for your help, really appreciatted. Willl look some instruction threads and give it a go.

    :)

CRC is the manufacturer of the cleaner spray.

I got it off ebay - about £12 I think, will do about 20 MAFs!

I'm not technical or mechanically minded but I read a few write ups and got right on with it!

Not that tricky with the pop charger - could be a bit more involved with the standard airbox.

  7. I know!! Plus the orange bolts etc. I think I'll gather a few bits up then fit and insure them all at once. Can you imagine paying a £30 admin fee every few weeks for putting lock nuts on, wheel sticker, debadge, stubby aerial etc etc!

Oh oh, anyone know if they still charge admin fees for changes before the actual start date? Ie, my new policy begins on Saturday so maybe I could get a few things done and declared before that to save moneyz?

If they've posted your documents you may be out of luck beccause if you change the policy they will have to send new docs out.

It may be easier to insure a load of performance parts and simply add one car.

    Lovie.

Thanks morgs, thoroughly decent of you, perhaps catch up for chat at next meet? Will obviously pay for it.

Tried to pm you to avoid jacking this thread but I was informeed you cant receive any new messages.

Sorry to Seasider for intruding on his thread.

lovie, if you haven't bought cleaner yet, don't! I've just cleaned my popcharger a few weeks ago and bought the K&N kit. There still seems to be plenty left, so you're welcome to borrow it.
