  1. Hey guys, basically after my OEM exhaust splits at the usual spot I need a new back box, also looking in to replacing the cats as well with some silenced decats. Now what I want is almost OEM sound. NO rasp and with the nice OEM bellow and gurgle sound. In your experience can custom exhaust place be able to produce sounds you requested like they say they can?

Last thing I want is to spend £££ to have a system that I hate. Loved the Fujitsubo sound which is 100% what I want but the price is a bit out of reach at the moment.

Another option is cobra cat back with japspeed silenced decats. Don't know would that be too loud and raspy tho.

  2. Was great to meet you and Ekona. Had a great first track day! like you've said the SXOC lot was a friendly lot and the day was well organised. Didn't get to meet Docwra as he was always out and about somewhere. Did get to see him doing a nice little drift in front of me tho early on the day lol

  3. Guys since I've posted up the picture I've took it off and put another 4 matt black coats on it. The finish is good although its hard to cover the sliver lip between the tyres and the wheels.

And today I try washing the wheels, being as careful as I could, but the plasti dip is actually coming off in thin layers? Some bits of the silver is actually showing up! So I guess I will just get them powder coated soon. Save all the messing about plus it chips easily when removing wheel nuts etc. Just have to decide either dark bronze or matt black as I like both.

  4. Good job, really like the colour. How many cans was that?

One and a half can for 3 coats of black, to be honest the gold metalizer was the wrong one for bronze, need the copper metalizer instead, so the colour isn't even when it's up close as I'm trying to apply a thin coat of gold and thin coat of black on top for the bronze look. Gonna mask it up again and just spray them matt black till I get them painted in dark bronze.

  5. Plasti-dipped my wheels last night. 3 coats of matt black and a light coat of gold metaliser to give it a bronze colour. To be honest I think I will paint them in that colour in the long term, but it was easy and cheap enough to plasti dip them to see what it's like.

  6. It sure is, it seem to have its own weather system too, one minute its bucketing down go round next corner and it's dry and sunny

Should have brought my proper camera too but wasnt stopping too much anyway :drive1

  7. Had a party to attend at Caernaforn, rather then going the direct route M53/A55 I decided to take the scenic route :drive1

Spend the afternoon driving the most interesting roads in Snowdonia, the B4391 is the particular highlight for me, smooth fast roads with sweeping bends, and the final part of the journey takes me to the Llanberis Pass, winding itself through two of the highest peaks, the scenery was unbelievable B)

Despite being on a Sunday I pretty much had the roads to myself, maybe all the tourists has left by the time I got to Wales in late Sunday afternoon? And the only mobile camera I came across happened on the rare occasion when I got stuck behind a slow moving car :yahoo:

  8. Just had mine back from a P3 at L&G off forum members recommendation, seem very clued up about 350Z and excellent service, you could make a day out of it as someone has mentioned as you get free use of the courtesy car too I think.

  9. Cheers for that Alex but I'll be mad not to take up that offer from Lee, after paying for road tax and insurance that's a welcome relieve for my wallet

That's a very very nice gesture thanks Lee, cheers for helping a newbie like myself

    Will fire u a pm shortly B)
