  1. Hey guys, the driver seat on mine will not move backward, only forward and the tilit forward/backward works, which to me indicate the motor is fine but just the gear or switch is at fault? Any ideas please? Thanks

  2. I had exactly the same! Blame it on mis-matched tyres as I'm wearing RS3 at back and RE040 at the front, but after 200miles the problem was gone. As you know 225/45/18 RS3 is not coming out for another couple of weeks yet but as soon as that is out I will be replacing the front two as well.

  3. Rainsport 3, used to have MPSS and trust me I don't feel disappointed after I changed to rainsport 3, and I don't potter about either. The MPSS are probably few percent better ultimately but I'm not pro enough to notice on the road.

     

    For the back MPSS are £170ish, whereas the rainsport 3 are £105. Quite bit of price difference for minimal trade off, I've looked at it long and hard when I decided to change tyres, all the mid range like Falkens and Toyos etc are crap in wet grip, noisy and mediocre dry grip, but the new rainsport really impresses for the price. The Rainsport has good dry grip, fantastic wet grip and are quiet, can't comment on wear yet as I've only had them on for 1000miles but the previous version seem to wear well.

  4. CEL came on the other day, borrowed my friends OBD reader and it came up with P1147, cleared the code and today it came back on, so I guess it's time to replace the O2 sensor, is bank 1 the driver side or the pass side? And where can I get the correct sensor and what's involve in changing the sensor?

     

    Ps the O2 sensor situate on the cat iirc? Also the mpg has dropped to 14mpg which seem to have been cause by the sensor.

    My mate and me have negotiated a deal with RS Tuning to have remaps for both 350z and Clio Sport 200s almost halved in price if we can get 10 people to commit. Kenny is operating on the Clio Sport forum and I am obviously on here.

     

    RS Tuning are authorised UpRev dealers and if you aren't already aware, this is the remap package thay everybody seems to go for on the 350z.

     

    Kenny has already had quite a bit of interest on his forum for this so I think it should be pretty easy to get the 10. If we get more then we will try to further negotiate the price.

     

    The original price is £400 and if we get the numbers they will offer us it for £195 + VAT.

     

    So if you have already upgraded your breathing and exhaust and want to get the most out of it then get your name down!

Everytime I read a thread about someone who has a problem with their Zed, it always follows by some advices by various members, but most of the times the thread ends without the OP posting how they solved the problem. So would it be good to have a little sticky to advice posters to wrap their thread up when they have solve the problem? Would be good information for any zed owners experiencing similar problems in future.

  7. Finally had it fitted today....omg why didn't I do it sooner? Big grin haha

     

    Even the traffic cops in the 3 series wanted to hear the VQ sing :D
