Got my car back 2day from having some work done. Now the tape player says push eject when I press tape to listen to my iPod. Iv tried the reset loads of times and I can't get it 2 work Any ideas?

The company I bought it from put it in to be fixed so not sure on cost or time. It was a full gearbox out and strip to fix fault. I posted a vid earlier on. I guess if you have the noise then u will just have too judge how loud it is and if you have a problem or not

Had the repair report for the gearbox back for the noise when the clutch is up in neutral. The following parts were replaced. 1st motion bearing X2 lay gear bearings The guy also said that there will always be a noise as its a characteristic of this gear box but mine was too loud to just be a characteristic nose and there was a fault. Hope this helps anyone also experiencing this problem

That's true will have to listen on pc with external speakers. From some of the vid iv looked at the cobra resonated sounds pretty nice. Quite loud. It's only 5db of my Astra vxr with Remus exhaust and that was plenty loud enough. Such a hard decision though. I'm thinking the k1 might not be a good idea as the rozzers will here me coming a mile away, lol! It it realy that hard to live with a k1?

Is the k2 still quite loud though compared to stock?

Cant seen to find the vid. Where Is it? How to the baffles go in and out? Is it easy to do and can you see them? Would I be better off with a k2? They look like they would be quieter? Guess I need to hear both too decide.

Thanks for the info everyone. So the only cats are in the downpipes and the y pipe is quite restrictive. Looking at the japspeed K1 at the moment. Iv seen talk of baffles/bungs for it to make it a bit quiet if needed. Where so these go and can you see them when fitted? Seems a good price for the exhaust. I had an Astra vxr nurburgring edition a while ago so don't mind it being as loud as that. Think is was 90db

Hello everyone Thinking of having a custom exhaust made from after the middle section back. So keeping the stock y pipe and centre silenced section. How much louder would this make the car? Am in right in thinking there is a silencer in the y pipe, mid pipe and backbox? Which is most restrictive and best to remove for a nice louder sound?
