  1. So after a little over 3 years of ownership today was the day I said goodbye to my cherrished zed. A growing family & a growing DIY to do list meant it was the sensible time to sell as I wasn't getting the time to enjoy her.

The good news is that She's to stay within the forum as Jay Kay travelled up from just outside London to Aberdeen today to pick her up. It wasn't the best weather for him today but he seemed very happy with her nonetheless! Hopefully his 9odd hour drive home goes pain free. It's been an absolute pleasure to own such a lovely car & hopefully later on in life I can own something similar but for now priorities lie elsewhere.

I was very sad to watch her drive off but she's in safe hands with Jamie. I'll be checking up on her progress on a regular basis as I will continue to use this forum which is by far the best I have come accros in recent years.

A little goodbye pic I took on my phone

  2. I fitted berk HFCs with the intention being for the exhaust to follow. I also have Takeda short ram intakes. For me there is occasional hesitation but it's not often & it only happens if I'm pushing on. I don't have any cel lights, never had that problem but it may differ from the DE as mine is an HR model.

  3. Even with the -15% code their prices are still too much compared with other sites such as Cleanyourcar.

I did a quick price comparison on some of the gyeon stuff before I posted & it was working out a bit cheaper. Some will be cheap than other & some will be more expensive but worth a look.

  4. I get their newsletters emailed. Today's said they are closing down, everything must go. Maybe just a sales tactic but 15% off using the code is still pretty good on a lot of their products as they are pretty competitive.

  5. I just don't have the time to drive her at the moment. Daughter was born two years back so usage halved at that point then moved home last august & now have another little'un due in September. The wife was the one that convinced me to keep her instead of selling last September as she clearly knew I didn't really want to sell so instead decided to take her off the road for winter ( road tax ran out 31st September). She is still tucked away in the garage as the house projects have pretty much taken over so I just can't justify having her anymore. Looks like she will be staying as part of the forum though which is what I wanted so that's a big plus. I'm offshore too at the moment but due home in a weeks time. She going straight in for an mot & service so all going well she will have a new owner in a few weeks. I could still make a meet but it would be in the lupo instead of the zed

  6. Part of the beauty of forums like these is that you have traders who have dealt with many of the forum members for many years. I for one would rather recommend one of them over an ebay seller regardless of how good their feedback is. More often than not the trader s on here will provide you with better information & at better prices too.
