  1. I have the Invidia on my 07 and it sounds gorgeous, it's fairly subtle below 3k revs so nice around town etc and cruising on the motorway etc. it really comes alive above 3k sounds beautiful !
  2. A company called Silverline wheels managed to source them for me mate
  3. It's a 350ci Chevy V8 5.7 litre, fast road cam, edelbrock inlet, MSD ignition, Holley double pumper carb and lots more . This winter it will be out, forged rods, forged pistons, stroked to 6.3 litre, forged crank and I'll be feeding it with a GT45R turbo . Should be pushing 6-700hp at 12psi when the turbo is on
  4. Cheers mate . When I'm bored of this look, I'll get in touch and see if you can sort me with some silly offset rota's to fill the arches
  5. Ah I see, so its not a percentage of throttle its just the speed in which the butterfly opens in the lower gears
  6. Heres a few shots of mine, it was Karl's car on the first post, I recently became the new owner https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 0133_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 4864_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 8743_n.jpg Best wheel combo IMO
  7. Hi Mark, Ive recently bought my 350z, its a 07 with the HR engine. The car has Cosworth panel filters, fidanza lightweight flywheel and an Invidia true dual exhaust. The car was Dyno'd and put down 323hp which I was pleasantly surprised about Ive ordered some Berk Decats/test pipes and im going to be putting them on when they arrive, then I would like to bring it up to you for a remap Realistically what do you think I will gain after you have done your magic with the addition of the test pipes? Also does the throttle restrictions in 1st, 2nd and 3rd still apply with the HR?? If so im assuming they can be removed too? Many thanks
  8. Modern diesels are easy to remap, basically add more fuel and then just bring up the boost burn all the fuel. Hi-tech petrol engines like the VQ arent that simple, you have to deal with timing, detonation, vvt, fueling etc etc. Its a true specialist job, dont let anyone touch the car who isnt a specialist, like Abbey Motorsport.
  9. Cheers Alex, I'll drop you a PM! Chico, either PM TARMAC or ZMANALEX, they will be able to help you
  10. If you really want to do it use a wire brush to get the oxidisation off as above. Then use a cutting compound like G3 or 3M Fast cut to get a good surface. Then your better off using a polish called Peek, its much cleaner than autosol and cheaper, you can get a 1kilo tin for around £15. Its designed for aluminium in particular and its the nuts Your a brave man though, it will take you a long old time
  11. Cheers for the PM mate, ill have a browse
  12. Looks like a vent at a quick glance
  13. Oh and obviously they need to be big enough to fit over the brakes
  14. Skyline r32gtr, r33 gtst, gtr, r34 gtt, gtr all the same pcd but it's the offset you need to be careful with
  15. The slave cylinder is more of the weak point to fail
  16. Yeah but I wouldn't let it out you off the exhaust!!! It's a great system, sounds gorgeous! I probably got a bad batch Well the gaskets where the berks will meet the system, where the cats join at the moment are fine, no leaking at all. There's 4 flanges after that on the system. So I still need the 4 that join the Invidia together. I should have taken some pics while I was under there
  17. It's all down to how it's been driven really, if people sit in traffic with the clutch depressed all the time etc it weakens the pressure plate so it will slip earlier on in it's life ! If it's driven well a clutch can last well over 100k
  18. I thought about Matt but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, matt black just always looks temporary to me :s
  19. Cheers guys ! I love fat steelies too haha I will have to sort a video out and post it
  20. That's one thing I've never done mate . I will do one once the gopro turns up
  21. Thanks for sorting the pics out mate
  22. Everybody who sees it brings up mad max haha
  23. I went for steels because I didn't know of any skylines with fat steels lol. I didn't have much choice with the air intake as the bonnet had to be cut regardless so I thought a scoop would look better than a plain old air filter
