  1. I don't want kids and can't imagine having them, that and I'd be a terrible father.

I have no idea why people would want to devote all of their time and money to continue their legacy, I'll enjoy my legacy while I'm here thanks. When I'm dead, I won't give two funks if I had kids or not.

The bit that makes me smile is......................... What if your parents had thought that way ?

Other than that I can't say anything.

As I left work to bring up mine. (now retired because they only need my wallet)

That was their choice, this is mine. Luckily I'm not my parents because I wouldn't want to bring me up  maybe that's what's put me off... Me.

  3. Looks like we're off to a good start. Awaiting to hear back from them today, so should have a price for you guys by tonight.

It might have changed, but having browsed them before it was hard to gauge the letter heigh in comparison to the height of the tyre wall, be useful if you could get some shots from them of various sizes letters on a known tyre wall size.

I think Grundy has 1 inch size letters on a 35/40 profile tyre for his TT ones.

  4. Will be chopping this up tomorrow, seems a waste. Final bump to save the bumper's life. if the condition doesn't look too great you can do a Grundy and cut the bottom of the bumper off, I'm sure he'll be along with a picture at some point. :p

  5. I guess that anyone that is able to save £4K a year will be paying at least the basic rate of tax.

Not entirely true, but I get what you mean :)

Just for arguments sake, someone on minimum wage of £6.50 will earn roughly same as someone on around £8-8.50 an hour due to taxes.

You do know how tax works... Right?

  6. Weight? Dunno, about 5kg will do it ;)

The 'w' doesn't stand for weight, it stands for winter, not sure if you knew that or not. I'd also have gone for the 0w40 given the choice, so the right decision I reckon fella :)

Maybe he recently rewatched the original fast and furious?

  7. Running costs will be a lot more than a boosted Z

I drove mine home from Newcastle on Monday & I went through about £120 of fuel

That was not going above 80 all the way down and using motorway all the way :scare:

Fuel isn't too much of a problem but the servicing costs etc seems to be a bit of a mystery.

On my last GTR I found servicing costs to be the same as any other car.

The only difference being when it came to doing the timing belt - Cheapest quote I had for that was £750

Ah okay, that's pretty spicy but for a one off cost it's not too bad.

edit: sorry to take over your thread Flex, I'm done.... For now. :p

  9. 3k sounds about right to me, mine isn't going to be used daily. :)

Hopefully not 3k pa running costs  Doubt I could justify that!

Just buy a skyline and join our club :)

Yeah, I'm just finishing up a property purchase then I'll get one I think... I'm going for a 32 though. :)
