  1. As said previously this car has been flagged on here before the seller has no clue what he is selling! It's been mapped to 296bhp which is exactly what a Rev up engine should have! It's an absolute dog of a car for the money read the previous posts and take your hard earned elsewhere!

  2. as promised a few pics, really pleased to have her back on the road ignore the missing pillar trim the bodyshop managed to misplace it but have ordered me a new one but i wasn't going to let that stop me having her back after 4 months!! haven't had a chance to give it a proper clean yet but have noticed a couple of minor blemishes in the paint on the door but will discuss these when i go to get the trim fitted and see what they say, thank you to everyone for their support and to the people who helped supply me with parts and information :teeth:

  3. who are you insured with? i know that admiral offer temporary cover for upto 28 days as this is something i was going to look into when the hire car went back after my z was involved in an accident and i was enquiring about insuring another car while mine was off the road, i never did go through with it as i managed to sort out a lift share while i'm waiting for mine to be repaired but could be worth just asking your insurers if its something they could offer

  4. sorry to hear this, i guess i got lucky when i sorn my car after the accident i submitted the sorn online on 28/11 and received my cheque on 3/12 for the amount that i was expecting including december, i suppose the difference is that to notify them of selling the vehicle it still has to be done by post and not online, maybe this is a flaw in the new system as the online applications are instant

  5. due to parcel force managing to lose the only one i had managed to source on the forum from abbey at the beginning of december, i am now back to square one 6 weeks later  if anyone has a passenger side front wing available please get in touch

  6. where did you park the car before the engine went and you were living at home? or did you leave it at home and get the train or something?

to be fair i understand your concerns with leaving it on the street i always tried to park mine with the least chance of something happening to it (end space, other end of car park etc.) but it didn't stop someone pulling out of a junction into the side of me while i was driving it  you can only do so much to protect your pride and joy but you can't do anything about other peoples stupidity unfortunately

if you can rent a space near your home then perfect, a garage would be ideal but i would want one where i could still keep a proper eye on it, failing that then leave it at your mums and do the commute the other way round if its just going to be a weekend toy :)
