RIP! Love how all news straight away saying that its been shot down without any investigators being to the scene yet and inspecting remainings! Just like MH370 flight...oh it's just disappeared and we any find it for like 4months now! Really? You can read finer print in the newspaper from satellite...but you can't find massive airplane/remainings? Fair enough it's maaaasssiiivvvveee area - but with all technology and all countries involved - still can't find anything? Or just don't want to? Or found it and pretending they didnt? Because most likely its been shot down by mistake during military training! All this sh*t gets covered up, speculated and we will never know the truth!

Got short shifter fitted and it tiny little bit miss-aligned...all heard ok, reverse goes in tight... Was driving earlier and went to put in reverse... And this happened Actual gear stick is snapped...was a right mission to drive it home lol Happened to anyone before? The actual stick itself was pretty warm...so I think it heated up and gone softer and that's why it snapped with a bit of force (minimal force) Is it normal for them to get warm? Obv whole tunnel gets pretty warm and heat travels...but never noticed it before as never driven around changing gear using bottom of the stick lol Looks like OEM gear stick thing goes back in tomorrow Just need to drill out snappd bit from the gear knob lol

Done them myself...but I would imagine it would cost you around £30

I would take it to court... If they were "threatening" you with "it will cost youore if you go to court" etc- they know they might be wrong and you will win it in court... Also, they might never gave a statement - so judge will just close that case in your favour...happened few times to my mates when police officers never have statement etc - and case was closed. One of the examples - they pulled my mate over on motorway for apparently doing over 100mph... Which he didn't and he knew it, so he took it to court...walked into te court, got told by the judge that police officers (2 of them as well) never have a statement so case was closed with no fines/points and only annoyed mate who wasted a day if work to price his innocence

I'm guessing its pretty delicate job with lights as they are tiny...that's why I handed whole thing over to my mate and picked it up when it was ready Yea, it kinda sits right now, without quick release...but I want quick release and that's extra 60mm towards me:( I will get used to it

I don't mind... but guessing without home button it will look a bit neater

Well, another update for today... My new dial cards arrived today along with new steering wheel. When I went to Russia last month, i took my dials with me and my mate redone it to blue/red LEDs. OEM dial cards are actually painted orange, so blue wasn't coming thru them, so ordered new cards from US. Steering wheel (bought off Wasso) Dial cards Dial cards fitted Then it was time for steering wheel... already had NRG short hub adapter and was gonna wait till I get quick release, but thought I have day off - so i fit it today and to fit quick release will only take 5mins Old wheel off, NRG hub fitted, air bag resistor fitted New wheel wired up and connected Very productive 2 days so far haha Will test light output on dials tonight, when it gets dark And a picture from yesterday@Abbey Motorsport

Bump None of the guys who just bought supercharger kits want a spare cog belt? I think it's a good practice to have one spare in your glove box as they do snap

I don't know mate, probably yes... But unless you have 2 in hand - you won't know. When I bought mine - I just thought I give it a go...you can't buy a lot for £15 these days, so worse case scenario I could've just binned it...when it arrived - it looked nice, I've checked it and compared to OEM one - and couldn't fault it! Fitted perfectly...2 years later - still 100% fine!

Mine as well! My point is (not this cap in particular) that most things made at same factory by same machines/people from same materials and just got different labels...and depending on the label - you pay the price! If they sold you that exact cap for £85 instead of £15 - you would never think twice and just fit to your car.

I have a fake one...and had it for 2 years now- with no problems what's so ever! Still looks nice and shiny like new
