  1. Hi All, I'm replacing some parts on my z and am after the following: M10 x 40mm hex head flange bolts with 1.25 pitch and 14mm head size. Also after flange nuts to go with them. Does anyone know someone/where that sells jap sized bolts? Many thanks, Andy

  5. Hi there, Bit of an odd problem. At high speeds my passenger window drops slightly as if the door is opened which is really annoying/distracting and noisy. If i hold the window switch up it goes back up untill I let go. Is there a known fix for this problem apart from driving slower? Thanks, Andy
  6. That is correct, however the force of supporting the weight of the car and compressing the spring in relatively small compared to the forces created from fast loading onto the damper. Think of it this way, if you removed your damper and hit a large bump at speed the wheel would immediately hit the inner arch. Now add the damper back in and all that force is transmitted thru the damper into the top mount. edit: the above is a very simplistic view and by no means the whole truth but gives you an idea of how much more load is input thru the top mount compared spring + compression
  7. Why would you go to all that trouble and then not make it work to its full potential?? Typical schooboy error I'm afraid. Thanks for the constructive comment Hi bud I can sell you any Vortech system... but they are designed for US cars in mind not UK. You would still need to get the complete systems remapped I believe. The Vortech advertised is for the Non rev up basic supercharger, you still need to add bits like the FRS/Fuel pump/Injectors and Oil pan and fit it and Re map.   8. All this talk of re-inforcement needed is all rubbish in my opinion. The force exerted by a damper under sharp bump conditions is massive compared to the relatively small force added by compressing a 10kg/mm (guess) spring. I wouldn't be worried...... Poor guy will be scared to drive his car now!!! As for ride height and damping set up, unless your doing any serious track work I would just set the height for cosmetic looks whilst still being practical on english roads. Damping will generally be set up by subjective feel, so have a stab yourself or get a good/professional driver to give you an opinion. IIRC you can only adjust D2's for compression damping in which case there will only be a relatively small window of adjustment. Just have a play, if you can't feel the difference then go look into other options. Cheers, Andy
  9. hmmmmm..... Is the vortech charger kit in your link for £3800 is the 'tuner kit'? Do you sell the 'fully calibrated' kit that you can just bolt on and run ~410hp with? If so how is the extra fuel supplied and is this reliable/safe? cost? I am aware there would be extra gains having it mapped to your specific engine however I am lazy and just want to bolt it all on and drive Cheers, Andy

    I have removed the unsilenced now for the standard cats (the sound annoyed me that much!). I can get a video up of the silenced vs standard cats if you like? Ordered them yesterday, I will get them on this weekend if they arrive. Cheers, Andy

    Are they silenced/resonated decats? I had the non-silenced (on a standard exhaust) and sounded awful and raspy. Ordered up a set of silenced from Horsham Developments which should hopefully cure this. Cheers, Andy

  14. Was do you have private plate starting V6?, grey? I put you in spotted or flyered last week. Nope, I have an Azure Blue on normal reg (54 plate GT with rays). What have you got? I'll keep an eye out Black GT, 05 plate, standard wheels (but in black). I tend to cycle to work as my office is just behind the train station, pop in for a cuppa if you're passing!
