  1. Hello guys, Thought if post up a few pics of my zed. It's standard apart from the japspeed k2 exhaust and the inovit wheels with 20mm spacers all around. Not really planning on changing much else as its pretty much perfect the way it is. I may get BC coilovers in the future though. This is my first zed and I've had her just over a year now. Love these cars! Any way here's a few pics. Not the best quality I know but it's something
  2. Looks a nice example! Good luck with the sale.
  3. The 350z has to be pound for pound the best value for money car out there! Compared to say a DC5 integra type r which you'll pay 8k for one with 70k miles and incomplete service history due to being an import. The performance and equipment you get for your money is amazing! Can't understand why they go for so cheap!?!
  4. Welcome to the forum! I also found my zed to be surprisingly cheap to insure. Especially for the performance! You can achieve 30-31mpg easily on a run and I average about 24-25mpg. I'm sure you'll love it!
  5. Welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss. The Wales trip sounds like a very fitting send off for him. You'll enjoy the drive, don't worry.
  6. Very tidy! Welcome to the forum. First car of this type?
  7. Welcome! Thinking of getting a zed in the future? I recommend it!
  8. Welcome! The 350z will amaze you. Great cars!
  9. Hello peeps, I am thinking about selling my Rays wheels. They could do with a refurb to look perfect but are generally not too bad. They have some curbing and a bit of the usual bubbling on the two rear wheels. Front tyres need replacing shortly as they only have 2mm on the front left and 3mm on the front right. Rears have 4-4.5mm so havely plently of life yet. All the tyres are Falken 912 of the following size: 225\45 R18 Front 245\45 R18 Rear SOLD Next up is a Nismo style ABS plastic front lip that is unpainted, brand new and never fitted. Comes with a fitting kit that includes the brackets and rivets. I've decided not to fit this now as I don't have the money at the moment to get it fitted and painted up. £85 (Provisionally sold) Finally I have a rear diffuser which is again brand new and in primer. This has obviously never been fitted either. £65 (Provisionally sold) Thanks for looking
  10. Glad you're enjoing your new zed. They're dreamy, love them! Welcome to the forum
  11. I'll be in touch then when the time comes to get them! Think i'll play safe and go with the BC's. Review seem good for the zed too! Worked beautifully on my old prelude
  12. I've had BC's on a previous car and I loved them. Definitely considering them for my zed now. A friend of mine has some HSD's on his MX5 and they look really well made too! They are 'true' coil over on the rear of the zed though so not sure how that affects things handling wise. Driftworks do interest free finance on HSD's for those of us with pretty desperate looking bank accounts.

    Show me your a$$

Stunning looking system! Any gains having the two pipes instead of one? Does it effect bottom end torque at all?
  14. P.s Does it go into one pipe to the Y pipe? Looks nice by the way
  15. I love the sound of my K2. Perfectly subtle on tick over and then the sound is imense higher in the revs. Quality isn't bad for the price but I found the outer sleeve on the rear tail pipe came loose which was making an awful rattling sound. I had to spot weld it to fix it in place which isn't ideal but did the job. I think for the price it's an excellent exhaust and a good all rounder for the road/daily.
  16. I was concerned about this before purchasing 20mm spacers all around but I'm pleased to report I've not had any issues yet. I haven't pressed on hard in the bends yet but initial feeling is good and turn is feel hasn't been compromised.

    My Volks are on...

Ps. Personal opinion of course but I'm not sure you need spacers. Especially 10mm! It depends how you want it to sit though. Looks awesome, congrats!
  18. You got it!! BIG fan!! Just booked my tickets for silverstone this year
  19. Hello people, New to this site and 350z's in general. I have been a long time Honda prelude owner but always loved 350z's and as soon as I was able to afford one I jumped at owning one! I kind of fell in love with the first one I saw which was a guy selling a silver 03 model with GT pack and a Japspeed K2 exhaust. It's in really lovely condition for a 8 year old car with 79k on the clocks and full service history which is all ncely kept with the brochures and wallet etc. It was the first one I viewed but it just seemed a straight car and was a member on here by all accounts so that was good to hear. I've been a forum member on preludeuk for a number of years and tend to find forum owners appreciate their cars a lot more. Any way to driving it.. WOW! Soooo smoooth and nice to drive. The torque is the biggest difference coming from Vtec engines! Never look back now for sure!! I absolutely look the zed to bits and the sound is immense with the K2 when the revs pick up but nice and quiet when ticking over or on the motorway. Very happy with 350z ownership so far and hope it continues that way! Hello from me! Adam
  20. Oh excellent I have a pre-facelift 03. Thanks for the help as I couldn't find one anywhere! Noticed it was missing today
  21. Any body know where I might be able to get one please? It's the little piece of the front grille that covers the tow hook. Thanks
