  1. You dont want to be stung? And your willing to travel 100 miles to find the right 350z? I wouldnt be entertaining those 2 then, 8K for an Auto Import is nuts! You could get a HR for that! My budget is about 8.5 and I mostly see 2004 zeds with high 50s on the clock. A HR for 8k sounds optermistic.
  2. Do you work for them perchance? £8k for an auto import lol
  3. Post the add fella, I'm after a Zed.
  4. Is it realistic to expect a dealer to change the clutch and flywheel on car above 40k?
  5. Also the DE Z has the same time as an E46 M3. I always thought the M3 was quicker, colour me surprised. The 350 is also slower than an ST. Start crying OP.
  6. . . . . Dammit, beaten to the punch. Ban me lol
  7. How long is a piece of string? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Top_Gear_test_track_Power_Lap_Times Anyway, who cares. Just enjoy the fact that Toyota and Sabaru made a great car.
  8. Stupid thread alert. Was wondering what everyone calls their car? I don't have a Zed (yet) but I call my baby, Carmen. Love the name, but not the car lol. So, apparently the rules are, if you're a male, the car name has to be female, and vice-versa. If you don't have a name, why not treat your car how you would treat your woman...
  9. Speaking of hairdressers, I'm just going to get my haircut. Thanks for the reminder
  10. Where thor art thou Ricey Unfortunately can't stretch to an M, but I'm open to donations. Only looking to spend circa 7.5k with around 2k additional from the sale of my car. Different beast but hardtop s2000 or mx-5?
  11. I'm currently hunting for a 350 but want to consider some alternatives. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Z4 and can compare it with the 350. Pro and cons, and if possible, some impartial advice on a zed owners club lol
  12. They aren't that rare! Lets face it, this forum, autotrader, pistonheads and ebay is all you ever need and most of the cars appear on all three of the latter. Do you really think a dealer is going to bother checking for you each day, just do it yourself and be ready to pounce on a good one. I've missed out on two decent Zeds, a little unfortunate. So ever little helps. Fancy selling me yours?
  13. Ive asked dealers to try and source me a zed, maybe you can do the same? Good luck.
  14. Flawed or not, if anyone is selling, feel free to drop me a line
  15. Like the clever man said, service intervals. Car is due a service at 54k so would be nice to purchase a car fresh from a service. Budget is £8k, I do have a trade in which has been valued between £2-2.5k. A trusty 1.2 Polo lol
  16. Hi, I'm currently in the market for a Nissan 350z coupe, Based in Middlesex, willing to travel for a well looked after example. Requirements Budget £8k 350z w/GT Pack UK car Black, Gunmetal Grey, or Silver. Sub 54k miles Full service history (P1, P2, P3). Please get in touch if you are selling, or able to source a vehicle. I browse the zeds for sell section, autotrader and pistonheads daily, and have 3 dealers looking for me. Looking to maximise my potential to get a nice car. Any advice on where else I can look, would be great. Adios
  17. I can't believe people are selling and trading their zeds for peanuts, when I'm in the market for one.
  18. There's a nice 370 for 16k on autotrader from a dealer too. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201212164636040/sort/default/usedcars/transmission/manual/maximum-mileage/up_to_60000_miles/model/370_z/make/nissan/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/radius/1500/postcode/ub48hq?logcode=p
  19. I'm looking to buy a zed coupe so if anyone is looking to sell, drop me a pm.
  20. Awesome, the car I was interested in has been sold. I've got fantastic luck #wallows in self pity#
  21. I think I've found 'the one' unfortunately it'sa bit high on the old miles £7k 54k on the clock, 2004, and one previous owner. It seems like it was owned by an enthusiast as the ariel has been replaced by a stubby, there's a alpine head unit that replaces the bose, and there's an ipod connector in the cubby. Only issue is the tyres are mismatched Falken 452's on the rear, and potenza on the front. I do want a facelift, not sure a dealer would drop £500 off the asking price to get to £8.5k and think I'll be crying every time I have to pay VED
  22. Why did I think a clutch and flywheel replacement cost around £800. When is it recommended to change the clutch, when it starts slipping or a specific age/mileage?
  23. I have around 8k to spend on a zed, obviously want to get as much bang for my buck. Checking all the usual places as well as the zeds for sale section. I was just intrigued to find out how much you all paid for your zed and what mileage. Alternatively you can offer me some good car negogiating tips. Go in and tell the salesman your budget, or play coy? Play dealers off each other?
