  1. I've been talking to tarmac about these and maybe having a group buy on them.

he is not sure about wether the nismo CAI kit fit uk cars, i believe it to be the same as the aem can kit but am not 100% sure on that, fit uk cars.

this is the nismo kit I'm talking about

  2. done these my self about 2 weeks ago. wanted to let it settle down and get it washed before pictures, so here they are. personally think the small drop is perfect for the car, still no speed bump issues and really firms the ride up nicely.

  3. looking into getting an injen CAI kit for my 04 zed. i keep reading about heat soak and how it will effect the power.

the injen kit, like the momentum one i believe (another option and probably favourite if someone could source it) holds the filter in front of the radiator behind the bumper. i can see how the heat soak may occur when stationary but surely when the car is moving it will only get cold air coming in from the front of the car and the heat soak pretty much be non existant. any views on that?

  4. fitted a set of then S-tech springs to it today. wasn't to bad a job, took 5 hours ish,few injuries as always, was trying to undo a bolt, bolt gave and i smacked my nose into the wheel arch, smarted a little.

will get pics done once I've cleaned it. only a small drop but does look good with the spacers already fitted, and ok so far over speed bumps. handling feels a lot more precise and definitely feels more confident.

  5. Hey all,

just wondered what peoples views are on personalised plates. if i was to get one id be looking at getting one along the lines of P?? HEF, as in my name, they cost around £189 so quite reasonable in terms of personalised plates.

I've always been unsure about personalised plates as they seem to have a stigma attached to them and people seem to have negative views on them and drivers with them.

    just after peoples opinions really

  6. Drove 70 odd miles to clacton last night. Spacers havent had any adverse affects onthe car at all, if anything it seems a bit more confident in corners than before.

If anyone is after spacers might i suggest larkspeed, came in at just over £200 posted iirc, cheapest place i could find.

  7. Ive only moved it around onthe drive so far, it did feel like it was slightly less responsive. Im gonna take it out tonight when the traffic dies down and have a drive. I will update with what i think.
