  1. Cheers guys. I lie in east london but the photos are in clactom at my gfs house.

Want to get the aerial changed. Have visions of someone walking past and snapping it off. Been considering the suspension and spacers but will be after christmas before id be doing anything about it.

  2. been out in the car tonight and had a play.

the car feels a lot more responsive in the sp mode really does seem to move off quicker, takes a bit to get used to it, and a lot more sluggish in eco mode swell, as it is supposed to.

    so far so good.

  3. Fitted mine today. Easy enough to do but quite fiddly.all is working so far but i havent driven it yet. I will let all know how i get on when i play. The wire sleeve on the display unit isnt the best fit, theres a gap between sleeve and unit of less than half mill. but a minor thing really.

£120 delivered by epracing on ebay. Ordered on 14th, arrived 16th.

  5. hey all. I'm not particularly good with car electronics and the workings etc.

what I'm wondering is if the nissan hands free that is installed in my car can be replaced by a parrot ( a Parrot handsfree, not wether a parrot could replace it before anyone says that) or wether the system is specifically wired into the headunit.

when i had my RX8 people used to hook parrots up to the bose system in them and I'm sure they could then connect an iPod to the stereo via that.

    cheers

  6. This is a really good thread, not enough of these on other forums in my opinion. I hope you dont mind my input on this, being new and all.

Ive actually been trained in fast road driving.

One thing from the original post id like to add to if thats ok. For normal driving on normal roads you need to be able to stop in the distance you can see. On country roads they taught us that the stopping distance is half the distance you can see. On coming traffic needs time to stop aswell and they wont be able to see you if you cant see them.

Another thing they teach is to keep your vision up. Be looking well ahead into the distance having hazards identified well before you reach them and Adjusting to changes. When on country roads looking through tree lines or in large dips, thrying to identify other road users at the earliest oppurtunity. And looking for signs that other road users are giving you eg parked cars steering wheels moving drivers heads turning, little things that before id not have payed attention to.

Having done the course it doesnt make me a faster driver, anyone can drive fast, it has tought me how to do it in a safer way being more aware of what else is going on around me.

  7. Picked the car up last night. So so happy with it. Sounds beautiful and never lacks in power. I had an rx8 a couple of years ago, that always lacked low down the rev range but the 350z even in 6th at 2000rpm pulls. Overtaking is a breeze. Although you will all already know that.

  8. hey all. i put a deposit down on an 04 350Z with GT pack today. it has just under 30k on it, but been serviced 6 times throughout its life, im well happy with it, think its been used as a weekend toy by previous owners. pick it up on friday or saturday. i used the forum for the buying advice section so thanks for that. im hoping to do a few mods over time. nothing major just usual exhaust, plenum and a trip to abbey. ill be using the forum for advise on bits like that and hopefully get to a few meets.

id like to start off with potecting the front of the car from stone chips, it only has 2 on it at present so would like to keep it that way if possible, cant remeber what its called but i had it on my previous car. any recomendations

    Paul
