  2. Hi, could you put me down for one of these if you have a spare ?
  3. Don't tempt me, I've already spent my salary twice over in my head looking at shiney things on here so I suspect it'll not be long before you hear from me!
  4. Thanks guys, it's definitely a uk car it just has an Nismo v1 front bumper on it The rear bumper still has stock rectangular plate cut out in it, I just need to find the rest of the nismo kit now....
  5. Hi, yeah only about 20 minutes away from me, are there many meets round here? Used to enjoy meets with Hampshirejapcars and a few other clubs.
  6. +1 I did a spot of fire fighting there a few years back on the refinery Oddly i live near Lyndhurst about 14 miles from Fawley, but i got my 350 froma guy in Canvey island, Essex They are tiny, but it'll bug me if I don't get them off, I tried picking them off with a finger nail but they're welded on there, I'll see how I get on with the abve bits and bobs, thanks people!
  7. That Iron x looks good spot on, I'll try that first and then attack it with a more butch clay bar if that doesn't shift it, that'll teach me for buying a car near an oil refinery!
  8. Hi Been using a meguires clay bar today, I've used these bars for a few years now with the speed detailer and always got good results before but it doesn't seem to want to shift some of the smaller particles on the z's paint for love nor money. I spent hours today going over and over the same panels without any joy, the little black flecks (that look like brake dust) usually get smaller, smudge and then eventually disappear but I cant shift them, I tried using paint cleaner and a polish on them without results, does ayone have an idea what else I could try please?
  9. Yep, dealer in Southampton for the plugs, £15 something each plus VAT, the cars only done 38k but is six years old so want to treat it Thanks EH 370z, will have a look once I've got a few more posts under my belt, ZMANALEX also.
  10. Thanks guys thanks for the warm welcome, had ths morning off so was off to the local dealer to pick up some new parts, she's now got fresh oil, filter and air filter, so much easier to work on than my old car (Toyota MR2 turbo) only took a half hour to change the oil etc. Nearly passed out at the cost quoted for spark plugs so will have to shop around for those (£115.00+VAT... er really??), and who the heck designed the oil dipstick on these things
  11. Hi All Thought I'd say hello as after months of looking I picked up my first 350z yesterday, just wanted to say I found this site fantastic in researching what I wanted, and what to look out for when buying etc so decided to join, its a great site . I ended up buying an immaculate UK GT in Silver with 38,000 miles on the clock for a little under 8k (I think I got a good deal!?), and can say without a doubt it was worth the 300 mile round trip to get it, I'm absolutely over the moon with it, happy days! Please excuse the poor pic but it's filthy after spending 4 hours on the M25/M3 yesterday, will put some better pics up once its been scrubbed: I have a ton of questions to ask, but promise to use the FAQ / Search Any owners near or in the New Forest by any chance? Cheers Matt
