I don't see why it would need strengthened in any way, plus when doing the research there's plenty of z's with this kit in the states and then Chris_uuc here also runs them with no problems.
The most expensive kits run full coilovers setup

Well the wheels just turned up, delighted with them
Just a teaser, anyone guess the wheel? (The couple that know need not apply )
-
They are xyz coilovers Neil. Really well reviewed in the Evo world and having been in chris' pearl white they are really comfy and a decent price.
Hopefully only having done 14k and garaged its life it won't be too bad but nothing I don't have the tools for anyway so should be grand. Easy life would be nice though lol
Cheers Karl, really grown to love the nismo kit, it did completely make the wheel choice so much more difficult to keep it looking aggressive but should come off pretty nicely

No intention on the thread title consonance
So it's about time I start a project thread to update how things progress across the Z ownership
I picked the car up like this
Bit of a small update on what I've been up to since having it.
The standard boot mat is as flimsy as tescos own brand bog roll so a new boot mat from Nissan was on order, fitted, thick and much much nicer. I moved the boot net from the clio across as I found it so handy to stop things sliding about
Some carbon bonnet struts to do away with the manual holder
Also ordered some spacers, 20mm front and 25mm rear for the standard wheels, they needed it so badly. I'll throw up the befores and after when I get some after pics taken. Could prob have done a 25/30 split but its only for a while until the new wheels arrive anyway.
Then these arrived yesterday
Once I work out what the craic is i'll get onto fitting them. Unlike most shocks I've worked with before the bottom of the strut rotates to enlongate or shorten the strut as well as the usual spring collars for the height. So unsure how what settings and that it needs to go to
Chris has them on his and the ride is very good, I don't even need to mention the looks
Wheels are on order and should be here within the week or so. Prob just trial fit them and then off again before we get the worst of the winter stuff
Nothing fancy yet, but plenty of decent photography once the big chances start to happen

I got mine with my Z
Took me a few seconds to realise it was my log book
Lol me too, thought I had been given something dodgy. Had to double check

Ah ok I'm just trying to think about how to keep the phone Bluetooth working. I'll have a read of the threads

Does it work in conjunction with the standard stereo?

Plenty of the my350z boys have the hr y fitted to the de

Any pics of the damage? I'd be playing the guilt card too for a while
-
Is that a random singular bulb reflecting in the windscreen too?
-
Cleaned up well Michael, sound decent

Nice vid love the climbing frame, why standard seats still?
-
Both lovely cars,

The pic of the real panamera makes it look like a little tonka toy car

Unless it's something major mod wise that's going to put you into very lean or very rich then it'd be fine for a while without the remap until you have everything done
-
Haha excellent stuff! Though in that weather he'd have been sideways in no time.... thus impressing all the playmates much more

As a teacher most of the reactions I get from kids vary from 'loving the car' to 'i'm going to steal it'
Noticed a lot of staring from the general public though

Wow what does everyone use for extra shininess? Some serious mirroring in those photos
-
That came up really well, nice work on the elbow grease
-
The colour came out really well in those! Looks well

He hit a kerb doing 'normalish' speeds nothing to do with speeding. The tyre had burst and the rim bent but he was driving on a flat to get to the garage. Then it caused came off the rim and caused the damage
