I see why they were called banana bars now
So £80 + £20 to a guy at a local garage to press the bushes in for both bars refreshed. Bargain!
Even at £250 per new bar they aren't too bad
Yep, hopefully the new drop links will fix it, should taken it to my uncles last night to get fitted but I was called out to work

I have a suspension knock that has developed since i got the car 2 months ago.
Its over bumps and only at speeds of 30mph and less. Its just an audible knock over bumps in the road. It seems worse when i first set off, once I've been out a while it seems less bad.
I've got some new drop links all round off ZMANALEX to try (couldn't get the old ones off so it's going into my uncles garage to get them done asap)
My question is what else could it be, i've heard people mention banana bar, and that it costs a lot. What is this? Some sort of arb?
This is assuming the links don't fix it obviously.

I can't make it now, didn't realise at the start but this week is my standby week, and being an hour from work isn't ideal.
I would suggest meeting at KK's on Saturday 3rd September instead, as a few different clubs are meeting that afternoon afaik.

Went with a mate a took some pictures yesterday, not even put my card in my computer yet but here's what my mate got

Its not the best as its my first attempt at video

I want to but my tom-tom has a built in sim for the traffic/google info and it interfered with the stereo when I tested it in the cubbyhole hole

You don't lose all of your nine years no claims for one claim, just a proportion. Check your policy for details.
Was just going to say this, you usually lose 2 years per claim.
I'd fix it myself still though.

Yep, I was there the day you brought the 370Z to kk's just after you bought it, and confused everyone with the 55 plate

Ste from CS who had the white 197?
If so, nice that theres someone I've met before going, not that you'll probably remember me!

Your on cs more than I am, but it was just coming out as I stopped paying alot of attention to performance mods for the Clio.
Its only really coming to light recently, since a lot bought on a group buy and some are quite disappointed it seems.
Its a shame, good power with no maintenance and keeping standard ECU and all features was a good idea.

You don't mention the rolling roads they trust do you?
They are (I presume) RSTuning and TDF I presume. They usually give the lowest figures but at least they seem genuine. Most stuff makes around book, clio's usually a little less which is common, but VW's usually bang on the book.
As for the RS2 JMS manifold, a few people seem to have been getting little gains from it over on cliosport, and to say it makes more power than ITB's is ridiculous. ITB's make around 200 usually, be lucky to get this to 190 from what i've read and heard in the clio scene.
Just my thoughts anyway. If your spending that amount of cash, go ITB's everytime.

Small update.
Got a carbon fibre front lip in the end, instead of vinyl. Got it from Daryl, also got a free can of red bull too
Also change my number plate for a self adhesive type, I would of rather had the plate in the lower grill but couldn't due to the mounts for the old holder. I will eventually be getting the front end resprayed because there are quite a lot of stone chips so will get the holes filled and it sprayed over then.
It has really freshened up the front end today though, very happy compared to before
Before:
During:
After:
Also got a smaller aerial too, the old one was just too big :o
Will give it a wash and maybe even polish tomorrow!

I upgraded the day it came out.
Running a 2011 i5 iMac and a 2011 i7 MBP. Its just as fast, if not faster except for boot times which have increased, but thats not really a problem as most people don't shut down their mac.
Dreamweaver and Firefox 8 no longer work, neither does photoshop CS2 as they are all old pre intel software which is no longer supported.
I have CS5 aswell anyway and that works fine, as does lightroom 3 and office 2011.
The new OS is good, and well worth £20 BUT I had my first mac os crash ever (been using macs for 5 years now) today. Had to force a shutdown by holding in the power button. I think if it hadn't of had full screen apps I'd of been able to save it, so a glitch i reckon, although cmd-option-esc didn't work.
Also, my parallels doesn't work, but some peoples do work I've read, I think i need to buy the new one. Its just a pain because i rarely use it but needed a windows laptop for a job yesterday so ended up taking my MBP and a netbook.
If its a computer you rely on, I'd be tempted to wait for the first update.

Jenic that second one is immense :O

So apart from a nos switch, what else have people put or thought about putting there?

I'm a rep on cliosport.net
Found the pub I mentioned a good location as its central for people like yourself in derbyshire, people as far out as hull, and the leeds/hudds/fax people like me. Always gets good turnouts.
This is the last meet we had. The day I sold my clio in fact
Is that a ph1 172 on ph1 valver wheels i spotted?? Where were all the proper clios like the valver and the willy??
ph1 non sport i think, so probably a 1.2!
All the old clio's rusted The new one's are better anyway

So it never did anything on UK cars, hate blank switches
That above looks cool though!
-
Did a quick search but couldn't find it, I'm sure its been covered a million times though.
Just wondered, what the blank switch next to the heated seats would do should whatever spec it is for be chosen from nissan?
Cheers
Mike

So, typically for a car club, yorkshire is quiet.
Every forum I've been on has been the same, yorkshire just never has a big car following, not that are willing to go to meets and events anyway.
Anyway, just wondered if theres anyone from around west yorkshire area thats up for meets?
I'm a rep on another forum and in the past I've found pubs a safe bet, mid afternoon on a Sunday at somewhere like The Old Post Office in Barnsley for a meet up, chat and a drink. Then leave to go to a photo location before any of the less desirable car meets start
So I quite like lists, so here goes.
Name - Location - Up for meets?
1) Mike - Halifax - Definitely up for meets!

All I can think to say is if you do it, get a wiring diagram up!
Sounds a good plan, maybe look to get higher res display?
