I got the official mats, about £40 + vat from my dealer last week.
Look nice and are fitted

Cant believe you let the FTO go for £1k!
I'd of bought it for that price lol

I just bought mine.
2004, FSH, 12 months MOT, 65k miles, Rays and GT Pack in blade silver for £7350 from a dealer with 3 months warranty.
Its mint except wear on the drivers door handle, it did have a scuffed bumper but i got the garage to sort it before I picked it up.

That FTO is really nice, how does it compare?
Zed looks good too, I keep thinking I should of looked at convertibles too.

Welcome to the forum Modding it already.....that's a slippery slope
I know, my first words when I put a deposit down on this car were "no mods this time"
-
I have already bodged it with a small piece of thin metal rod, but its just not as smooth as the passenger sides so would prefer the proper nissan part.
It cant be glued as the 'rod' must move as the vent opens.

What lovely beads you have there on your paintwork.
Loveley and pert, firm, tight and round......just the way i like 'em
Thats from the dealer wash too!
Thanks for the comments guys.
Have since got some official mats for it, and ordered a carbon fibre front lip from Daryl on here. Cant wait to get it!

Mine has lost the part that makes all 3 sections open and close together.
Would anyone have just this part or do i have to buy a whole new unit? If so would anyone have the whole unit available?
Cheers

I have had bad experience with tape adaptors too but thought I'd give them another try when I got my Z. Purely because I didn't want to mess with the stereo.
Went for a Sony tape adaptor rather than a cheaper one and its superb, no interference or scratching I have had with the cheaper ones. Highly reccomend it, sounds just as good as a 3.5mm input.

This happened to my uncle's volvo.
The whole locking mechanism had broken, he had to just chop the door card up to change it and then replaced the door card. Expensive but had to be done.

I'm 21, but with no points (touch wood!)
Elephant were cheapest fom me (all the admiral group were within about £100 of each other). I paid £1380 with 2 years bonus in a decent area.
I found not having RWD experience was my biggest burden as the specialists wouldn't touch me, I had to give up 6 months bonus as my current insurers wouldn't insure me on the Z so had to start a new policy.
Admiral group are the cheapest atm though, for most people our age with performance cars, when I told the other insurance companies what they had quoted they clearly didn't believe me, and usually ended with the line "if thats really what they have quoted then go ahead and take it out" lol.
Next year, when I have a years RWD experience it should be better.

Been away for a few nights in it, but took some pictures on Friday, loving it so far
Had been raining on and off, and it was so glum so the pics are a bit crap

Sorry to be such a noob!
I havent collected my 350 yet, but do they all have electric folding mirrors already? So I can just buy this kit, a bit of wiring and it will fold when I lock it and unfold when I unlock it?
-
The one I posted sold today, but I have since found out it was a Cat D anyway so doesn't really matter.
Bought this today though, pick it up next Thursday
Silver, 65k, GT pack, Rays wheels, FSH, 12month MOT in Oldham

Thanks for the welcomes and pointers
Really wanting a UK one for the cheaper insurance (about 20% I've found) and the resale.
-
Cheers
I asked on another forum, and someone checked on the thatch cam database at his work earlier today and it came up as a fairlady.
I'll take my laptop with me tomorrow and do the MOT thing to make sure.

The car is this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2961925.htm
There is a possibility it has sold, but if not i am hopefully viewing tomorrow.
My insurance company thought it was an import. But elephant said it comes up as UK spec.

Hi,
I'm new, and looking to buy a 350Z.
I have seen one which is for sale locally but am getting conflicting information as to whether it is an import (from people with access to various databases).
It has a UK rear bumper, but that could of been changed. Are there any other ways of telling if its an import?
It was also bought approved used from a main nissan dealer by the previous owner. I didn't think they touched imports?
Thanks
Mike
