New drop links haven't really helped much, if at all. And its getting worse by the day.
Had it at the garage all day and they found nothing wrong but admitted they could hear it.
Thought about going to Nissan but found out they charge £108/hour and I'd rather we buy any car it than pay a few hours at those prices for them to find nothing.
Anyway, i did a video of it, any thoughts. 20 seconds in you can hear it, right until the end.

Fancy seeing you here

I'm with elephant (so same as admiral) and paying £1300 for mine. (21, 2NCB)
Have you tried adding 2 older drivers? Preferably both women with long licence. Also, you could try increasing your excess and reducing your mileage if you don't need so much.

Nice to meet a couple of you tonight, didn't stay long, but enjoyed it

I'm definitely going to this now, and my mate joel in his 300zx is coming too. Should be there about 7:45

me depending on price of course
same for me!

Depends if your contract includes tethered data (to do it officially at least )
All the new o2 contracts include it, I don't think the old (6months +) ones do but you can move onto a new one if you call them, i don't know what this changes though.

Front lip is made by Varis Japan mate. Quite hard to find nowadays though.
Been trying to find one for a while now, fancy selling it
-
Pic's or yours mate?
Love that front lip, where's it from?
-
The easiest way to do it, imo, is to get a container and fill it with your car and all your possessions for the move.
Will be costly though!

Then there's the paperwork and tax!

Surely there will be loads of fairladys from japan you will be able to buy once there?

I really like polarised, but only ones I can find are long and open ended

A carbon fibre one is hard to source in the UK at least, especially one that I trust will fit well at least.
This is the best I've found, but the seller didn't respond to my email, and I'd want to see a fitted one before buying: http://www.express-enterprise.co.uk/sei ... -5364.html
(unless i was a guinea pig getting the development one cheap ;))

A nice, well priced, VS style front lip. That fits perfect.

Mine seems to roll back slightly after applying it.
For example, if i'm on a hill, out of gear, footbrake on. Then pull the handbrake on, let off the footbrake and the car will roll back slightly before being held/
Is this normal?

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I've fallen at the first hurdle, age
Out of interest, I've sent you my postcode
Do you have any criteria such as age, bonus, experience with rwd etc? Also, would you be competitive for my second car, obviously my zed is currently insured elsewhere and I have no bonus as it's all on the zed
Final question, HX3 rated as good or bad with you guys, brentacre tell me it's a good area, sky tell me bad.
Hello Jenic,
Here you go:
Age = minimum age is from 25
Bonus = from nothing, we can also give introductory, mirror (from your first car bonus) and even net (where there isn't any applicable) BUT it is very dependent on circumstances. We are quite picky and only give the advantage of the extra bonus where we feel it honestly applies.
Experience of RWD = a big yes! We all know what it is like going from a FWD car to a high performance RWD! Go and learn on someone else's insurance is my jaundiced view. I need to be insuring true enthusiasts thank you! (remember I am trying to make the insurer profit so we have the scheme next year too!).
Second or other cars in the garage = we love them! We can be quite helpful BUT there are some mad cheap internet rates out there and we do not compete against the dafties out there. We do write quite a bit of "other car" insurance for members. We all know how silly we enthusiasts can be don;t we! It doesn't matter what car you are driving. I t has to be "right"! My wife moans at me when I ask her to park in the corner of Tesco's in her Fiesta diesel - for fear that someone might open a door on it.... We do make good insurance risks though! So why shouldn't we get some advantage from our standards? It can be a bit hit and miss though - the rates that is. The internet is a mad place and some rates for everyday cars are simply that: mad!
HX3 = it seems OK but there may be postal code sub sectors. If you PM me with your secific full PC I can see for you and Pm you back.

My experience is it blends in and goes un noticed.
Maybe its living so close to Bradford and Leeds that any sort of Jap performance car is a common thing?
I found my old clio 182 got more looks and comments!
-
Looks identical to the reply i got first time except replace september with july
I thought buying a Jap car would mean loads of parts available off the shelf and in stock, how wrong I was
-
A few angry people in here!
I got a refund today, I'm glad in a way as if they had of honoured it then i would of been paranoid that they were fake.
-
I'm confused why any 350Z owner, or any performance car owner, would be so worried about fuel consumption.
You knew what you were taking on when you bought it, if you wanted economy you'd of bought a diesel!
-
Any photos of yours how it is now?
As its what I'm looking at doing
-
I'll try and make this as its local.
Will try and drag my mate along in his 300zx too.

Seibon ones are usually good quality but are expensive. Whats wrong with the EPR one or not to your style?
Ive been trying to get the exact same product from EPR since beginning of July. When i emailed them I was told that they would be in stock end of July. Another email to them beginning of August (well three actually as they didnt reply to the other 2) got a "just waiting for the containers to arrive, we will mail you"
and no email.
interesting to read on here that there will be at least another 8 week delay - i wont be holding my breath.....
The reply I got last week:
HI thereThe VS lip is on order at the moment and it should be back in stock at the end of September.
Thanks for your enquiry.

I would prefer CF tbh.
The only problem with CF is if it doesn't fit you can't just being it in place/chop it etc, so it must be perfect!
I might go with an EPR one when they come in stock and then get it wrapped in CF vinyl
-
Anyone tried the Seibon one?
Prices range from £325 to £425 for it.
No one?
Suspension knock....

Took it to my uncles last night, looks like it is the banana arm bushes, going to order some next week and hopefully it will be fixed.
