  1. Well, advice please !! My zed just completed 9000miles from new on its original Bridgestones and to fair they can now officially pass for slicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scare:

Only 9k out of a set of Bridges, might push a few more miles out the fronts but seriously guys is this normal???

Any body got a clue where the best price for this item is, also most websites denote a (DZ) or (TZ) code or TL don't know what this means so any enlightenment

would be much appreciated.....any good fitters,suppliers.etc.

Sorry to say been around long enough and it's not the first time I've seen it. Organised via Blackberry threads and mailshots...grim. Devil finds work for idle hands but it's an indicator of deep seated unrest in the UK, especially amongst the young ....sad ....no horizon for us let alone them. A sign of the times, financial gloom and policy that still falls on the side of the well off.

I use BMW's own, it's real good, keeps them in tip top condition and specially formulated to keep that new car smell.......it works, I promise. Not cheap but not expensive either compared to the other stuff on the market.

Welcome I too am a Honda fan, got a Type S Accord which I have to add has been a absolutely superb piece of kit. Had it two years and put 40k on her and only replaced pads front and rear and had a couple of services. Use her for my everyday and love it.

Hope you get a zed soon, they are addictive, you will not be dissappointed!!! :teeth::teeth:

They **** me off too...just another tax on the motorist and all designed to catch you out. You set your cruise control and the next gantry the speed limit changes and you end up hitting the anchors at the last second to scrub of the mph. Just a nightmare.

If the gantry has a camera mounted rear facing to the posted speed limit electronic display you will also notice lines incrementally laid out on the road behind the gantry if you are above the posted limit you will be snapped but think the rules regarding this are 10% and above the limit for prosecution....they are the most incideous form of law enforcement sold under the premice of road safety. I feel your anxiety.

not like the old days when you used to get chased by a Jam sandwich..... at least there was a little sport attached to it

I bought the exact same car only 2008 in March only difference mine has the rear park distance sensors and only 7.5k on the clock and bought it from a Nissan main agent.... I paid £16k and it came with 12 months road tax MOT and a bit of a warranty and Gap Insurance thown in for less than half price.

So judge for yourself, I think they can command the price when they are this low mileage but you can beat him down a little I think....give it a go!!!

Curtains, pies, Lidle, who gives a crap now.....we have a result, the big guy is remaining in the fold. I prayed for the Lord to deliver his soul from the sale of his 350 and sweet God answered. He 's staying!!! It is one of the forums best pieces of work this week.

Meanwhile back at the ranch guys, my misses has been looking at carpets.....Prey for me ...PLEASE!!!!!! who knows what lies ahead, she will be wanting holidays, hot water and the heating on winter and one of those new fangled automatic washing machines....HELP!! I prefer my work shirts beaten on a rock in the nearby river....

  8. :boxing: It's only 350Z he ain't got....toss pot, they are just the kind of blokes you love ....you know the type.. the ones that drink in Weatherspoons in the afternoon wearing Adidas tracksuits and brown brogues telling everone how they would put things right if they were in charge of the country.

God Save Us From the Grunt! :boxing:

It's a issue we all have to face sometimes, what price your enjoyment??? You really got to be enthusiastic to run a big engine nowadays, I can at times remember myself having to sell my pride and joy because the misses wanted something frivellous like...mmmm.. what was it now... oh yes! curtains!! and a toilet that flushed and bed linen and a washing machine..!!!!!

I gotta tell ya them things couldn't hold a candle to my dear old Pontaic, I wept when she went down the road...I wept even more when I bought the curtains. But all said and done a blokes gotta do what a blokes gotta do to keep the wolves from the door better to have nothing and be debt free than have a yard full of metal with no money for petrol.

Sometimes it sharpens the interest in something else.

  10. :headhurt: I know a great guy, one of the best works for all the prestige dealers but me thinks he is not near to you.....he's in Gloucester and have to take the car to him but boy is he good!!! Well he did some cracking work on my BMW and Honda......seemless. Let me know if you want his number I will oblige.

  11. She got what she and more to the point her managers wanted, meteoric rise to fame superceeded by a even greater rise to to infamy. Different folks have different coping mechanisms unfortunately hers was fatally flawed just like the proverbial moth to a flame. I firmly beleive there are people who genuinely find life too cruel to live themselves, an over sensitivity perhaps, a pre-disposition to be honestly dissappointed in the way the world really works which leads to having to find something that enables them to get through it one way or another. Sadly I think if folks cannot genuinely bear up like the rest of us it's because they have not the tools to do so, no fault of their own maybe.

We are all killing ourselves just not in as dramatic a way as Amy was, drink, too many pies, cigarettes, work aholicism, alcoholicism, drugs, fast cars, wet roads & sharp bends it's no different really the sum total will be the same she just cut out all the effort in between..................................................................................

Christ!! Pass me a beer and me fags, order a curry but please lock the knife drawer and hide the keys to me zed !!!!!! :headhurt::headhurt:

  12. You'll be fine, change is good and the recession ain't as tough as it was 2 years ago. I've been made redundant 3 times since 2006 and walked away from 2 other jobs, the second walk only a month after I bought the zed. You have to hold as many of the cards as possible we all rely too much on the success of other peoples businesses for our own security if your'e good at what you do you will be back to work in no time and you have the four months grace to make the right decision.

I'm saying all this because we don't want to lose fellow zedders...let the family and the zed drive you on to better things and I'll keep em crossed for you too.
