  1. so have I got this right.... you did not have to pay the annoying admin fee to add those mods onto your insurance? if not, how come?
  2. cheers Veilside Z... just hope it stays on!
  3. Hi David, a bit of hard work and learning and I managed to get it to work! (plus a few trips to get the right bits and bobs!) as you can see in the pic I have just taken for you below I used the existing bolt hole holding the plastic undertray to the front bumper. managed to get hold of a couple of brackets, one on each side, about 6cm long, then used a nut and bolt into the splitter Untitled by Winkj, on Flickr Untitled by Winkj, on Flickr I also attached one in the centre... (which i screwed into the bottom of the bumper . Untitled by Winkj, on Flickr for the rest, I didnt want to bond it to the front bumper so I used strong adhesive number plate mounts on the centre. hope this is of some use!
  4. Hi Guys, update as mentioned! as I get a bit more spare cash I am working through the list. Over the past couple of weeks I have been attempting some minor bodywork (which is a big step for me!) by reworking and painting the RT Performance Mines style front splitter. everything I have got on my car, which doesn't actually look much, is easily removable with no damage to the car. which is what I wanted to do with the splitter (also no visible fixing, like screws etc!! . I have managed to securely fasten it so that it can be removed and re attached with ease. a few pics below after a wash tonight. my next plans are to get some of the side splitter jobbies from Tarmac or CS .... again which are easily removed and subtle! 6. @tarmac & Pete87 cheers for the comments, I will be sure to run it just with the splitter until I can get hold of some side steps me thinks!!
  7. looking good! cant see the side steps perfectly but looks good in the pic!!
  8. I want all of them to match up gloss or I think it would look odd on my Z. Think I am going to fit the splitter for now though until i get the side difusers
  9. I have always been told to run hubcentric as they are better... I would always go with them to be honest.
  10. do you think I can run the car just with the gloss splitter for a month until I get them or will it look stupid? it will be a chargespeed rear.
  11. Hi Guys, I have test fitted the lip and is off for painting in gloss black. (just gel coat and dusty in the pictures). whats peoples opinions, when its gloss black, will it look too much? I am considering getting the side diffusers in gloss black too (Tarmac/CS can supply) which I think will carry on the flow and will look smart... what are the experts thinking? if its too much I can sell it on fleabay but until I see what its like when done I was just curious for some feedback!
