  1. I had a Honda Civic which had the gunge but no spare wheel.Had to use the gunge late one evening, did seal a good size nail hole.Honda did want to charge me £45+ for another cannister of gunge, decided to buy a spare wheel kit for £90.Would def consider getting a spare wheel and jack.

  2. If you dont use some sort of protection on the polished rim it wont take long to deteriorate, trust me,i had some polished minilites on my TR6 two years ago, they used to go dull just after a couple of days as the bare aluminium starts to oxidise.Definitly better to give a good coat of lacquer. You can buy a good multitool for around £45,with a polishing wheel and Autosol you should be able to get a near mirror finish.May take a while tho!We use a bigger version of polishing wheel at work and can obtain highly polished finishes on Ali and Stainless steel.

  3. Think the only way you will get these is if someone is breaking a car with them on!

I recently bought some, cost me £200 including spraying.Yet to fit them.

  4. Had Accelleras put on the front of my sons car,a 1.4 Polo, got rid of them after a month, absolutetly rubbish, wet and dry.Certainly wouldnt have them on a Zed.

  5. How much do you value your life.

Unless I could see the inside of a part worn tyre, I would never buy one, but that's just me

You dont know if the used tyres have been involved in an accident and had damage done on the inside,so unless as Zugara said if you cant see inside be wary.

  6. Welcome to the forum Sally. Check out http://www.zchickz.com, it's a female owned and run, and a great forum, just like 350z-uk.com.

    Enjoy Nigel. ;):drive1

well, erm, i dont know. I always thought a car has to be female but then i liked the name Nigel. Maybe i will call 'it' Nigella?

Lol, the Zed is shapely, but don't brand it a Nigella. :p

    Good comparison,both got a shapely rear :p

  7. Was pointing out that even new old stock can be regarded as an old tyre just because of its age, even tho it may never have seen tarmac, :pmtarmac: ,NO not that one!

  8. Reputable tyre companies dont sell tyres that are over 3 years old, they will fit them if YOU supply them, also they may refuse to fit tyres that are over 10 years old, something to look out for if buying used/new old tyres.Tyres have a date code on sidewall consisting of 4 numbers,eg 0212,which reads as week 2,year 2012.
