Hi,got the usual left hand speaker cut out issue,have read the guide to do the fix,but have looked through the guides cant find anything as regarding the removal of the sat nav screen.The car is an 05 GT coupe.Some helpfull advice required.

Did the plugs on my DE last week,took me about 1 1/2 hours.Probably halve that time if did them again.

Probably had a respray some time in past and top coat not taken to basecoat,usual cause for lacquer to peel.

If my memory serves me right that small plastic lip is around the £90 mark from Nissan.OUCH

Got a fabulous bargain on Ebay,4 tyres for Zed,all part worns,Nankang for front with 2mm of tread,Lingalong with 2.1mm for front,Michelin PS2 8mm of tread and a Matador with 2mm,both for rear.All for £20

Car now handles like s..t.Any ideas why?

Did notice you have Accelera tyres on front ,had some on my previous car,after 1k miles got rid of them ,thought they were s..t,how do you find them?Do know that they are at least half the price of a 'decent' tyre.

If you look at various threads on here you will find that most Nissan dealers havent a clue about Zeds,more use to Micra's,they are crap.You would expect Nissan to do something it about it!

Belts was fairly easy as no bolts were seized.Judging the tension was the trickiest bit.Think easier to change belts from underneath too.

Will probably change the diff oil in near future.

Why was screen replaced?

Gave the zed a bit of a service,plugs,oil,oil filter and both belts.Did the plugs earlier in the week did the rest this morning.Took a total of about 4 hours.All bolts came out easily from undertray and tensioning bolts on pulleys were free too Total cost of all items shown was £98.52 including p+p,all off ebay.Note belts and filter Nissan items.

I had a zed in 2005 ,sold her 18months later Got another last year Tells you what i think of it.........smile every time get in to drive.I average about 23mpg general knocking about.Always get people looking at it,def go for it.

Your fault or theirs,insurance or pay your self?

Only just looked at this thread,certaintly making me smile .

Just a suggestion as Zedley seems to go awol quite a lot trying to plan that he is passed on personally by his keepers,less likely to vanish,also things should progress quicker.Know this might be a pain logistically but have become quite fond of the little fella.

Did the plug change today,took abut 1 1/2 hours.Every cable,pipe and wire did seem to be in the way tho with a bit of gentle cohersion managed ok. Can see why Nissan stealers charge so much!

Hoping to change plugs sometime next week,does anyone know if i need to purchase a special long plug socket or recommend a brand of tool to buy,dont want to risk damaging plugs or block.

The fronts use existing holes,the rears you have to drill,3 holes per side in bumper.

Liverpool are in talks with Ken Dodd as new manager,will save them changing initials on Kennys old tracksuits!

Rear diffuser looks good.Was it an easy diy job for us forum mob to fit?

Might struggle with valve caps tho!
