Re: That black Z with the black wheels, Doogy ( Jim ) and my I met him at Tesco car park at Winchester before heading down to Port Solent. It was quite funny really because Jim and I had parked had away from all the other cars so no one would park close to the our Z's and when we were about to leave this chap parked up next to Jim's Zed in a 4x4 or something. Jim first words were ' The is always some ***** that parks next to you when there is rest of the car park ' Anyway this chap just wanted to say hi and had seen both our zed's parked up. So we informed him of the meet down Port Solent and the address for this forum - fingers crossed he signs up and introduces himself, seemed a very nice chap and had bought the Zed as seen in the pics.

Hopefully Jim can shed a little more light

  2. I am somewhat confused as to where everyone is meeting ... :headhurt:

Also made my first aesthetic purchase (instead of hefty repairs) this week but they wont be ready in time for this drive down so you guys will be stuck with the black dog car once again

SwanageDave and Buster are meeting ( Ferndown ) up and both travelling together towards Junction 9 on the M27. DoogyRev and myself are also meeting up slighlty before ( Tesco at Winnal on M3 J9 ) and then heading towards Junction 9 on M27 to meet up with Zug, Buster and SwanageDave, then off to Port Solent. Hope that makes sense

Question: Where abouts on junction 9 M27 do you folks want to meet up, im not that familiar with that area.

  3. Cheers for the responses, someone did say about trying to roll it out but dont think I would be to happy with that and for what it is worth probably worth just buying the one wheel.

Pm will be sent later this evening Zmanalex

  4. To cut a long story short: Had my rear right drivers side tyre replaced and have been informed the wheel itself is quite badly buckled. The previous tyre had a slow puncture so guessing the previous owner hit a pot hole or something, whatever it was he did it in style. The wheels on the car at the moment are the standard Nissan alloy...

    Choices are:

    1) Get one new Nissan alloy / refurbed...

    2) Set of new wheels all round....

Had quite a lot of expenditure this month already and just not sure whether I should bite the bullet and get some cheapish good looking wheels ( if thats possible ) or just spend a little amount and replace just the one. Complete novice when it comes to wheels etc and have been reading/looking at other wheel posts/pics and really not sure which route to take.

    Confused.com

    Steve.

  5. :byebye:

If its any consolation I reckon the worst noise would be the sound of your own testicle popping after being stamped on

    WRONG!! :-)

Good luck with your next purchase..... are you sure you just dont want to buy another Z
