  1. Excited is one word for it! Cut a long story short found a 1 previous owner, Black 54 plate with 32k on the clock down towards Bristol direction. The previous owner was a Dr from up Edinburgh/Aberdeen area and traded the Zed in for a Porsche 911.... So if your on these forums all I can say is thanks Looking forward to getting my mitts on it and spending a very long time getting her up together and giving her the once over so to speak! So here she is:
  2. Already have an introduction post but thought I would post another as I have just put the deposit down on a Black 54 Plate.... Worthless without a picture, there will be one posted later this evening and a few more details of it etc. Cats got his cream is all i can say. Will be picking her up next Thur/Fri - longest week ever Steve.
  3. Gratz fella enjoy it! Im not a jealous at all!.... * cries in corner * :-)
  4. Evening all, Off to look at this one tomorrow as my finance has been finally sorted! Opinions on a post card please... http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/uvl/po ... distance=2 Thanks Steve.
  5. Anyone own this little number thats just turned up on autotrader? http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/ca ... 0387421416 This colour 350z - http://www.autoweb.co.uk/WSCarDetails.asp?cdID=12589543 - resprayed or me being completley stupid and not realisng they did it in this colour Two Zeds that I have found online and liked the look of and on both occasions gone to enquire they both been sold the same day I phoned up ( Conspiracy ) :-) Im being very picky but it has to be done!
  6. Welcome! 3k insurance, still picking my jaw up from my computer desk.
  7. Oh god dont mention engine warning lights, the car im part/ex for a Zed has got the ABS light on and took it to the local garage and looking at a £1727 bill to get it fixed :-( Fingers and toes crossed for you it is something minor!!
  8. Think I may have found my Zed which I have to say is in immaculate condition, 45k on clock, in gun metal grey, had a its major service 1000 miles back, all receipts etc. Price is probably a little more expensive than i would of expected but considering its just had a big service and is in mint condition maybe im wrong. The only strange thing I can say about this and wondering if anyone knows of a member present or past that has had the underneath of his bonnet autographed/signed ( smallish signature ) - couldnt make out whose signature it was. Perhaps from a track day and someone famous was there.... either way certainly different! Also it has a carbon fibre front splitter. They had another Zed there that was slighlty cheaper with same milage but was in no way close to the same condition as the other one. Trying not let my heart lead my head and making sure I dont just jump in the deep end straight away!
  9. Cheers for the heads up about the garage, to be honest I only went there as it was relativatley close and I could get a closer inspection of the Zed's to see which model/colour preference etc. Think I have narrowed it down to GT Coupe, now just the colour ;-p Out of the colours my preference is either Azure, Black or Gun Metal. Azure seems to be calling to me! Looking to spend around 10k area. Been a long time admring the 350z now it's time to get one! Steve.
  10. Thanks again for the warm welcome! Might aswell keep you updated on events of getting a new Zed! Went to S20004U garage ( 15 mins down road ) to have a look at the zed's on the forecourt as I wanted to see a little bit more of the car itself inside and out. I have always loved the look of the Zed's and also very tempted by a convertible 330 beamer... and now that I have sat inside the Zed and as soon as I turned the car over and heard that engine I was sold :-) At the forecourt I asked to see both the coupe and roadster ( both in Azure blue and I have to say I think the colour looks stunning on this car ) - to be honest I think that has confused me more than anything as i always thought the coupe was perfect. Which do I go for, any helpful tips why to go for one and not the other? Does it just boil down to personal choice ;-) Anyway time to get my finances sorted this week and then the hunt begins to find that Zed for me Ps. Love some of these emoticons
  11. Thanks for the welcome all and already some useful stuff!
  12. Hi all, What a better place to gain some knowledge about the 350 zed's than these forums! Currently scouring the net and local papers to find that 350z! Will be trawling the forums to get any advice and recommendations before purchasing the 350z. Ciao for for now! Steve
