  1. It will be fine Luke, it won't go anywhere once fitted correctly I found out that I had a rubber grommet missing, which supported the heat shield. So got a new rubber grommet and the heatshield fits great now Idle problems were sorted by doing an idle reset
  2. I decided against the idea I just wondered if it was something someone had done before. Thanks
  3. Have you got any pictures of them fitted?
  4. Hi, Am after a Tommy Kaira Z emblem, I can't find one on any website. Thanks
  5. Hi Alex, I beat you to it, as I've already sent you a PM
  6. The garage has now confirmed it's definately the drivers side steering rack, they rattled the drivers side steering rack to show me and it made exactly the same clunking noise that it makes when I go over uneven surfaces, weirdly the passenger side doesnt have any play in it. The garage can't confirm the exact problem, without taking the steering rack apart, just wondered if anyone has had this problem before? Or knows a common problem that exists? I assume worse case scenario is a new steering rack? Thanks
  7. Hi, I have a clunking at the front of my car as soon as I go on a road that isn't perfectly flat. I know it's not the banana compression arm bushes, as I just had superpro ones fitted, the garage say that they think the steering rack has play in it. As all the other suspension/bush components are okay. Do you think a new steering rack is required? or just new bushes? Any advice or previous experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  8. I never understand Rota crtics to be honest. Yes Rota are comparable in design to a lot of brands out there, but the build quality is second to none and wouldn't say a set of 19 inch wheels for £1k is exactly cheap, my opinion is that If you go down to Halfords and pick a set of wheels up for £400, that is cheap. I like the Nismo LMGT4, but are basicly the same design as the Rota GTR (you just pay 4 times the price because of the Nismo brand), I think the value for money for a Rota is very good and that is why so many performance cars have them fitted. Maybe I'm bias because I just brought a set of Rota's But done my research, Rota for me can't be beaten for quality at the price they charge.
  9. OEM sidelights sold Rear lights and strut brace still for sale
  10. I notice you have Varrstoens, I'm looking at getting exactly the same but in hyper silver. I spoke to Peter from Varrstoen and he said they're unable to supply a 11 x 19 wheel in an offset of et22, only 11 x 19 in et15?
  11. So really I should be looking at: Front: 19 x 9.5 et22 Rear: 19 x 11 et25 Or am I wrong? Offsets and wheel widths are confusing
  12. Will these offsets work without spacers or arch rolling? Front: 19 x 9.5 et12 Rear: 19 x 11 et15 Thanks
  13. Will we have these before May? As need this before Japfest Cheers
  14. Hi Guys, Am interested in a set of wheels but only supply them in 5 x 120 PCD, a company said they can re-drill to a PCD of 5 x 114.3. Is this safe? What process is involved to carry out this operation? I'm worried that the quality of wheel will be jeopardized Let me know your thoughts Cheers
  15. I've got a stock airbox with filter and intake pipe if you want it I don't have a clue what these sell for so make me an offer Cheers
  16. Its the only way of holding the paper down without it flying off in the wind
  17. Hi, I have for sale: Set of Genuine OEM rear lights for £40 + £10 delivery (Am willing to split If I can sell both, someone has dibs on the drivers side but will only split If I can sell both, anyone want the passenger side? If not will just sell as a pair) Would want £25 each light plus £5 delivery to split Set of genuine OEM sidelights for £10 + £2 delivery NOW SOLD OEM strut brace for £30 + £10 delivery Will also have a set of OEM springs for sale next week Thanks
  18. Horsham fitted my scorpion exhaust and I rate them very highly. I've asked Jez to fit me in next week for lowering spring fitment and new belts Cheers
  19. Have just purchased a set of Tein lowering springs and have been given 2 quotes to fit so far: (1) £212 excl 4 wheel laser allignment (2) £250 incl 4 wheel laser allignment I think they are both quite expensive when I've been told springs can be fitted by a professional in 2 - 3 hours. Does anyone know a good garage within 40 miles of Reading who are economical on price? Thanks
  20. I really like these wheels, just don't want the hassle of arch rolling or camber adjustment, cheers though
  21. If you don't ask you don't get as they say
  22. Hi, Am buying a new set of wheels, would like a set of TE37 Volks in the blue colour (see below) or a set of Volk GT-S, does anyone have a set that they want to sell (I know it's a long shot but worth a try)
  23. Looking at the positioning of the heat shield on the JWT, it's going to get heat on the filter whether the heatshield is there or not, I assume the filter needs to be enclosed completely to remove all heat soak? If I left the heat shield off what am I really going to lose out on? If it's only a few hp then I'll live with that, ss I don't track my car, nor thrash it on the roads, just some spirited few hundred yards here and there I think the fitment is really poor of the heatshielf and is more likely going to come off than stop heat soak! Maybe I am missing the point?
