  1. Pics and a price then I'll be in touch
  2. I wouldn't place Red Mist in the quick detailer category, its more of a spray sealant. You might find that if you use it as a QD to remove surface dirt/dust it will cause swirls. Personally I use ONR or Megs Last Touch, then would use the likes of Red Mist or Zaino Z8 on top of that to seal and give a really glossy finish. Good to know the Autoglym is up to the job though, will give it a look once I run out of the others
  3. Autoglym metal polish & some rags here to polish up to a shine.
  4. When it's etched into the lop layer like that you're gonna have to do some cutting. If you have a DA or Rotary it'll shift no problem with a couple passes, other wise as mentioned some elbow grease will help a lot. Try your least aggressive polish first to avoid removing too much top layer. Just remember to get some protection (sealant/wax) back on once polished to help protect the paintwork further.
  5. Cheers for the tips guys. Walking around with 8k of cash is probably going to be an issue seeing as I am going to have to travel about 6 hours +/-- to pick one up. Always get a better choice looking England way with cars. However I hear some of you with the bargaining ability that stacks of cash carries with, guess its finding a happy medium like some of you have suggested. Always going to take a second pair of eyes for an impartial opinion too, that can stop you from convincing yourself that the problems you've just discovered are 'ok' and the best decision is to walk away.
  6. haha no doubt, especially when the snow arrives to the north easy! Snow shoes. I have Autosock snow shoes for the CRX, they were a god send!
  7. Basically in the title really. Buying a Zed will be the most amount of money I've spend on a car by a long way and as it will more likely be a private deal just wondering how people have paid for theirs privately, cash, bank transfer, other options? Cheers!
  8. haha no doubt, especially when the snow arrives to the north easy!
  9. They are great cars to be honest, I'll miss it a lot! Just hope that a Zed will more than fill the void (I'm fairly sure it will!)
  10. If I haven't found one by then I'll come and see you!
  11. That's pretty horrific, never heard anything like that happening before! Hope you get the car sorted without too much hassle..
  12. Thanks for the welcome! That's what I like to hear. CRX was great, but being so rare there aren't many other owners to bounce ideas off of!
  13. Best glass cleaner I have used is Stoner Invisible Glass, streak free and spotless finish. Just avoid the one with build in rain repellent as it is pretty poor.
  14. Alright guys, have decided that it's time to upgrade the motor and I can finally afford a Zed so thought I'd join the community. I've been driving a CRX for a few years, but this year is its 20th birthday so has been around the block a bit and think it's time for a change. Had a good look through the buying guide which was pretty helpful so I'm off to review the trading post to find an azure with my name on it! Very much into my photography and detailing so when I finally buy I'll get some pics up. Cheers!
