  1. Did mine about a week ago - HTC Desire HD,

Plugged in the BT adapter set the phone to scan Nothing

After checking everything (nothing out of place) tried again -

Ignition on it took 3 scans then it was there! - enter code normally "1234" I believe - dropped in although the phone displayed "Paired but not connected" for about 5 mins.

  2. Thanks to everyone for all the help,

It appears that it is probably the slave cylinder that has issues so thats a no brainer to start.

In for a penny in for a pound

If I'm going to change the Clutch and flywheel as well shall I go lightened?

Seems the popular choice but whats it like for everyday use? (not that I use my Zed everyday)

Any recomendations before I bite the bullet and shell out some of my hard earned! :scare:

  3. Hi All,

OK 2nd weekend getting used to my Zed the clutch has always been high (apparently normal for a Zed??)

Anyway I used the loud pedal a bit more than I have been and have found that changing from 2nd to 3rd under power (lots of right foot uphill)

She hit the rev limiter as I came off the clutch :scare:

Came straight of the throttle went for the clutch and it wasnt all the way up :scare: No2

Tried the 3rd gear pull away and I can do it with no slip if I'm gentle but it slips with a lot of power (but I thought it probably would?)

Is it just stating to go - should I be looking at the slave cylinder (Levels are good) is it week springs?

    Any and all help appreciated

Finally for those that know If I need a new clutch and I'm going to track her what's a good road/track choice? i.e. not so heavy it takes the pleasure out of town driving but will handle some track use.

    Thanks

  4. Otherwise the question would have to be 'have you ever broken the speed limit and not been given an endorsement'

    :surrender:

How many of us could say no to that!

If it does become part of the insurance questions I'll be on me bike :scare:

  5. Got mine today

About an hour to install and - "It Does What it Says On The Tin!" :D

I went with the self tappers for the micro switch (so the door panel can still be completely removed)

With the guide the wiring is simple enuff (I managed it)

The micro switch is a little bit tricky to line up. I found that with the self tappers and a washer between the switch and the door panel on the whole furthest from the locking mechanism it lined up better.

Overall I reckon a good DIY mod and I'm very happy with the result!

Buster get yours ordered and I'll come over and fit it.

  6. So are we saying we don't know who the car belongs to but it's not Tim's?

Well I've just got home in mine so you can rule me out too -

    1. Not Tim's

    2. Not Keyser's

But this is the best read in days :bangin::lol::yahoo:
