  1. Hope you get it all sorted but you should probably delete this public thread about you intending to defraud your insurer by not telling them though..

Like Ekona says there's nothing to stop them claiming for whiplash and even the repairs after you've already sent them money. They may be kind, honest people but then they may not...

  2. To be fair £2k for a 20 year old with only 1 year NCB isnt too bad. I payed £1200 for my first year insurance when i was 24 with 6 years NCB.

It gets much cheaper the next year on though...

    Good luck with your search.

  3. Its always tough to tell, I think the Nismo will hold value as its the best version of the current range. The next Z will be a turbo car.

Just depends what people want in the future.

With regards to the 996 I think you'd be better saving for a 997.2 as that was the last of the hydraulic steering n/a Porsches and will be worth a lot more in the future. I don't like the 996 personally and think it would cost more to maintain.

  4. Just compare the meerkat, I was 24 when i got mine and just went with the cheapest one.

It'll be much cheaper next year when you're 25 and have extra no claims bonus.

Its also much cheaper to not use comparison sites.

They give you a good indicator of which company will be the cheapest though, you can then ring them up and usually get even more off.

  6. guys the Zs here are not selling that dear here, i know because ive bought two 350Zs and i gave £19,000 for my 2011 370 GT edition with 17,000 on the clock in 2015, all cars had service history.

edit - i meant bought in jan 2015

Is'nt the tax sky high in N.Ireland tho or is that just Ireland? Could be why the cars go cheaper there?

  7. Did the up rev DE's have HR Lamps and Interior then, but a DE bonnet? Actually it's pretty much a HR with a DE bonnet isn't it cos it's on HR bumpers too. Excluding the engine of course.

Yep, the Rev up is the same as the HR but except for the bonnet and the engine. I would have bought a HR but wanted the Azure blue which wasn't available for some reason.

  8. I cant believe dealers want 13k for a HR zed...

I Test drove a HR which was mint with only 11k miles on it for £14.5k, but that was 5 years ago now.

Probably should have bought it in hindsight but I saved £4.5k getting my Revup in the best colour :)
