  1. could be the starter motor is a bit sticky, which is giving you the grinding noise.

i would personally but one from alex as you will be 100% sure that it is gonna fit!! and if there were any issues he is alwyas gonna be on here to help you!

  2. your cars still quicker than the focus :p

i wouldnt mind getting one as my daily though!

car looks nice and clean, a good base to start with mate! im sure youll add your personal touches too it soon!

    keep us updated!

  3. its about £8 all it does is properly clean the engine of all 'cokey' build up inside and all deposits the could possibly be left from the old oil

personally at 2k if will be clean anyway

but theres no given mileage at when to start using it

many dealers dont use it at all.

iv got a bottle in my garage ready to throw in when i next change the oil but my car is on 62k!

you could always buy one from halfords, add it in, drive to the garage, then they carry out the service, this way it only costs you a few quid!!

    hope that makes sense!

  4. That post says that it is a difference greater than advised so you take your chances...

To be honest and not nasty if the OP is looking to cut corners and cost on tyres then they need a cheaper to run car....

    Lol

I love this new phrase on car forums.

"If you can't afford X buy a cheaper car" :yuck:

So you would advise a Lambo owner to pay £3k for a replacement headlight for a Diablo when the same headlights are available for £300 from Nissan?

I was just asking a question to see if its viable, no need to make such jumping conclusions.

I guess you always use Nissan dealers and all OEM Nissan parts?

totally agree, no matter what car you own some people always like to shop around, or look for a cheaper option. unless your absolutely minted with about £40m in the bank!!

im all for putting top quality parts on for top performance, but some people own a z because they like the look or the drive, not because they want to go flat out 100% of the time in all conditions.

for those people - having a slighty cheaper tyre wont make a sh*tting bit of difference.

  5. i always go onto ebay, and type in 350z breaking

email the seller and ask them if they have any for sale, cause usually they have a 350z in their yard that had a front ender or something similar!

worth a go anyway, sometimes you dont get any luck, but iv sourced various parts this way before!

  6. not just for the snow, but the colder temps aswell, they really do provide considerable more grip.

but still, whatever tyres you got, you drive to the condition of the road!!!

i dont have to worry about tyres cause i got a shed i use all year round!!! knowing that the z i love is tucked up nice n warm
