  1. If it is latex emulsion it should come off with some elbow grease.
  2. After re-reading this the only part that confuses me is step 15. I assume this is just cutting the wire in half to make a male/female connection to just to make removing the relay a lot easier in the future and not to connect any other wires to it ect. Also, how much time should I allow myself to do this? I'm working late shifts for the first half of this week and don't want to run out of time .
  3. Would it be cheating to program the route into a satnv .
  4. Strange my headlights are great compared to my old car. I could actually see where I was going down the A3 the other night .
  5. I'm the same but will give it a go. At worst I'll have a £15k bonfire going lol.
  6. My heated seats seem to take a fair while to heat up and I've yet yo feel the backrest get hot .

    The 400 Z ?

What Bacon said. It's probably a concept which was made just to get attention. If actually put into production they will probably change a lot.
  8. I'd love to put my name down for the Wales trip but it's unlikely as to get a weekend off during that time of the year is hard work and most of the guys/girls I work with had to book it off well in advance. Ordered a few things from my supplier that they don't stock as standard. Hopefully if it is all here on time and the weather is nice the car will get get some TLC.
  9. I was fairly confident about this before reading the guide.... Hmm lol. Do you lose any settings if you disconnect the battery? My old car lost the radio code etc.
  10. Must be to help you "aim" the ash while driving so it doesn't go everywhere. I must admit, I've never even looked for or found an ashtray in my Zed... I wouldn't use it anyway I guess . I would like the cubbyhole and the glovebox behind the passenger seat to have lights though.
  11. Welcome. Don't worry about your English it's better that some people I know who are English . If you get a drift car people would love to see a thread showing the work you do to it (myself included).
  12. Apologies regarding my last post I mixed that one up with another car. Still it's a 57 plate roaster 18,000 miles for £14,500.
  13. It's great to see so many replies so thanks all. I managed to get down to where a family member works and grabbed a few bare essentials to add to what I already had like some tyre dressing, leather conditioner etc. A big thumbs up to Martin for his generous offer also . I assume Red Mist is a sealant which promotes a shine? I see a lot of products out there but wonder how many are actually worth giving a go. Does it do the same job as Autoglym Rapid Detailer? PS can someone memo the Met Office as ask for the rain, cold and wind to go away? Thanks
  14. My 2007 has two knobs on the driver side. It also has two electronic controls for the driver and just one for the passenger.
  15. Thanks for the quick reply, didn't expect much this time of night! I was looking at a Dodo Juice basic kit that included a few applicators, microfibre applicator, Lime Prime and the Purple Haze wax, but I'll have to check out the Meguiars Tech Wax too. I have a relative who sells Dodo Juice and Autoglym at their company so I get it all below net price . Dodo Juice has to be ordered in but Autoglym sits on the shelf (rows and rows of it all). Not sure if they sell Meguiars but I can check. Thanks for the advice on the waxing though, I had a feeling I was using too much but as I had no one to tell me I just carried on doing what I always did.
  16. Silly question I know but I am about to buy a better wax (Dodo Purple Haze or Autoglym High Definition not sure which yet. Thoughts?). In the past I have always used basic Turtle Wax but I wondered if these "super" waxes are worth the hype so I'll have to try a pot and see... The problem is, splashing out on a £35 pot of wax could be costly if I'm not using properly. With the old car a half decent shine was enough but I want to show off the Zed, but how much wax should I be applying? It's probably hard to describe in words, but if you consider a panel the size of the drivers door, what amount is needed? I have a feeling I over-use the crappy wax but it all buffs out well... Trying to save some money if I am simply wasting a lot of the product. Also, I have been told a few times that two light coats of wax is better than one thicker one, if so, how long should I wait between coats? Can anyone recommend a pre-wax product? Currently I polish with Autoglym Super Res Polish then wax right away. Thanks all!
  17. Sorry if this has been posted before but seriously... why? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT It's the price more than anything. Did Nissan give them out with a new purchase of a 350/370?
  18. Same feeling here. I've had one nice day in the last 3 weeks or so and I was working. Had planned to spend some time on the weekend to wash it but rain almost non-stop .
  19. ^^ What he said. I wanted one before I drove one as it was a car I have wanted for 7 years or so. I test drove one and that was it, I had to have one no matter what. I'm not looking forward to the winter though, but who cares, we had snow this year for what, 2-3 weeks max (where I am any way). I can deal with that .
  20. I will have to try this. I have a 56cm Bianchi and never thought it would fit. there's no way I'm getting a Brompton either!
  21. Thanks for the reply guys. Just seems odd to me that they didn't include it on certain cars. I think I'd prefer one also. I always end up having the map up as I hate just seeing the warning about not being an idiot and blindly following the map into the sea or whatever it says every time it books up.
  22. I've seen a midnight blue roaster on Autotrader for £12,500. Worth a look. 57 plate I believe.
  23. I'm still in for mine, just wish I was able to post a reply sooner to get my name on that list higher up (hate work computers ). Will you be posting the installation tutorial on the guides section soon?
