It can be repaired by welding it but it's something I'm not keen on as the alloys integrity has already been compromised, so it looks like a new set as a replacement set/wheel is impossible to source; any suggestions??

Looks like I'm going to have to go and get some photos of it and see how I get on with it, does kind of suck! Ahhh thanks rothers! And the wheels are blitz technospeed type 03 I'll have to let you know how I get on for future reference if anyone else has the same problem

Pretty much what im on at the moment and the stance just looks the part,

Was giving the Z its first real clean of the year as the weather started off good only to find this! http://img845.imageshack.us/i/photo8i.jpg/ Cracked straight through and all i can think of is its done from the terrible roads/potholes in my area, as they havent been powder coated or had anything done to them other then being sprayed from being bought. Now iv been weighing my options about the past day or so, and basically have come to these options; 1, Try source another replacement - Been discontinued for 2 years now, all the suppliers iv tried in the uk dont have them and cant source them from japan so this option is very very unlikely as they are a rare wheel in the UK, especially in 20" 2, Alloy welding - Not looking at all to go down this route as id never trust the integrity of the alloy again. 3, Brand new set - Looking mainly at this one, but what do you think are nice options along in the 20's catagory as there dont seem to be many nice ones about these days ( quite fussy have to be 20x10 40/42 offset rear and 20x9 30 offset front and chrome/polished lips ofc!) As for the way the damage is caused has anyone had any advice on a possible claim against the council? or if its even worth going down that route? Basically i am looking for one blitz technospeed type 03 20"x9 with a 30 offset due to mine cracking Or a new set of 4 (open to options) but they have to be 20x10 42 offset rear and 20x9 30 offset front. thanks

Yea it is pretty much just a slide out slide in job, may have to take out the center of the dash to get to everything but it's not a long job. And the face plate is just like a surround so you get a flush fit as it'll be slightly larger then oem I found., can't rember there exact name for the bit

Supprised you cant get UK stations on your import radio, was possible on mine just the MHZ was like 88.1 for stuff like Capital FM and such. But you basically need a faceplate and the wireing harness youv found on ebay, and its a simple 20min swap to do.

Anything along the line of Blitz technospeed type 3's as there pretty much only sourceable from japan! And especially rare in 20's but with recessed bolts on the split rims like in ruddles pic

Its not so much as heart set on one, its just recently iv been preferring the exhaust not of the nismo exhaust. Think ill have to see what everyone thinks then make a fair decision on it, as i do love them both

Hey just a few questions really; Does anyone have/know what the switch next to the VDC button is for? (just a rocker switch with a neon) I have no clue what this does, and im still awaiting on my handbook to arrive from Japan. I have a feeling it might be for the heated seats but after reading the US handbook the buttons on that should be located on the center console. Also I have been reading that the electric mirrors should automatically fold in on ignition off/tilt down on reverse... Now im only managing to fold in after pressing the button down. Cheers
