Dunno really. Just bought the wife a Fiat 500 1.4 and been driving that a little bit as it is the 'new' toy.
Just guess when I buy a new car, whatever it is, I love the feeling and excitement of it and then start thinking about a new one for myself - but took it out for a spin today and washed it so I'm back in love
-
Ha ha, agreed CS.
Which is why IF the wax is indeed Autofinesse then I'm excited. The only two pink ones are NICE!
-
I've called them.
Is an error and being re-added onto their webpage
-
If you contact autobrite direct via email or phone they do stock it. Annoying it isnt on their web page though

Don't forget Waxybox this month, if you're interested.
Only 5 orders so far according to Richard - again, if you have feedback - lemme know!
This month's looks extra special as the wax ISN'T a test mule but a well known brand...
The rumour mill is it Autofinesse but obviously nothing confirmed yet

Hmmm i think i may have seen you a couple of times!! Actually I was in Bolnore earlier this eve!!Yup, Bolnore here. Hold the record for the mad mile drag strip run too
My plate is N777SMO - and I hardly ever drive it at the moment. Sad to admit this, but enjoying our little Fiat 500 quite a lot right now :S

Good job mate

No mate, I'm away with the wife in Wales.
But if you ever need detailing help or products PM me as I am happy to help and have tonnes of stuff I bought and rarely use due to a detailing product addition lol

Pop over and I can give you some polish for free

350z HR - again, biased, but had same decision as you.
Just can't get away from it - hate the way the 370z looks. Compared to the 350 is has lost some of its natural good looks IMHO.
And, engine wise, the HR engined 350z is essentially barely down on power compared to the 370z. Test drove both, couldn't tell the difference. In fact, the only discernible difference for me was that the 350z was a) better looking b)slightly cheaper and c) a bit more engaging to drive and 'connected' to the road.

Nice mate, looks like mine but with less bumper road rash

Yeah Will, big pockets...! 695 is cool
-
Yeah the thing putting me off the Adam was the rear of it.... and the 100hp engine being a little out of price range....
-
...so, after 5 years of loyal service, the SportKa has to go. Rust has set in and, frankly, the economy sucks too - 25mpg average isn't far off my zed.
So I've put down a deposit on this little cheeky. Fingers crossed it doesn't implode or catch fire or something :/

The New:
Now, I know it isn't the manliest thing in the world, but I'm a little bit smitten....

Oh no, really ? That sucks!!

How the hell does it happen?!
Oh, and:
FINISHER-FRONT PILLAR
72812M right side
£262+VAT
Or, gaffa tape and a black marker pen would cheaper.
As if you would, lol!
Going to get a quote from a bodyshop for repair too - want my bumper sprayed to tidy up the stone chips anyway....

Don't worry about re-claying if done recently.
Lime Prime will remove everything and polish the paint - work it for a while, until almost 'clear' on the paint, then remove. When you're happy with the finish, apply your chosen glaze. Then your wax or sealant.
-
Ha ha - the reason I noticed it is my paint is pretty reflective, hence the eye-funk of the last pic!
-
Hard to see thanks to cam phone - anyone had this?
-
Got out of my zed this morning to notice (what I thought) was a scratch.
Apparently it is a crack in the A Pillar - anyone else had this?! Presume it is some kind of plastic cladding too, rather than anything structural?
Pics to follow

Firstly, you'll be limited in the finish you can get by hand because it's difficult to get any real correction without a machine, however you can still get a decent finish by hand.
Start by ditching the T-Cut for some proper polish - I recommend Menz Super Finish (85RE/SF4000) which can be worked well by hand, although I'm sure others will have their own preferences. Also I'd recommend a glaze before the wax, either Poorboys Black Hole or White Diamond depending on the colour of your car (I'm assuming it's the red one in your avatar?).
I'd say that's the minimum to get a decent finish, but there's a number of other steps you could add to improve on this depending on how deep your pockets are...
I'd read through this - excellent guide with some good recommendations not only on product but technique

My own personal view would be use something like Dodo Lime Prime by hand, followed by a filler heavy glaze like Prima Amigo (or Black hole) and then a wax (oilier than a sealant).
Waxybox. My guilty pleasure

Yeah AB direct are expensive on postage.
Next time they do their amazing sale I will link it on here....
They do much of their popular stuff at 50% off or more but only once or twice a year.
If you do a bigger order the postage shouldn't move much and I'd highly recommend:
Purple Rain (Iron X essentially, but way cheaper)
Jaffa (citrus cleaner and dressing in one, brilliant for wheel arches and engine bays - apply, agitate, rinse, dry off for protected finish)
Banana Gloss Shampoo - cheap and very good
