Hi Apologies for a late reply, don't panic over a failing roof, Cayman Autos will fix it. Sorted our 5th bow issue out at a fraction of the Nissan quote. If the roof is failing to close and the heated rear window is not working check the connector at the rear window, re-connect and the roof will return to full fitness. Cheers.

Function over form for my wife's car, wants to be seen after nearly getting cleaned up by a truck. .....I assumed "boggin" was similar to "sick", so a massive vote of approval. Cheers.

Good quality construction with Hella lights and control unit. Simple clear instructions with templates though I wasn't brave enough to do the body work cutting or repainting. Only head scratching moment was resetting the bonnet open warning light, as ever there's a solution onthe forum. Pictures don't show how fiercely bright the Hella LED's are. Money well spent.

Thanks for your reply, I've still got the original amp and the broken head unit. The problem also occurred with the original units. The replacements are OEM. Just to confuse the issue further, with the audio off and ignition on the speakers will occasionaly crackle really loudly. Switching on the engine a couple of times will sort this out. The boot I hope is dry, I took out all the polystyrene packing for the tyre repair kit and re-carpeted the boot - top tip for loads more luggage space. I think the problem could be with the Bose door speakers, some where there is a duff earth and or an errant live connection. I'm not confident taking a door apart let alone following the loom. I might ask my local guys who fitted the Smart Top and the DRL's to check the door speakers and the loom in the boot. Any further thoughts or tips would be gratefully received. Thanks.

I need a fix for this problem please on a 2010 Roadster with Bose. Scenario 1 Start the car, no problem with the audio - works for months. Scenario 2 Start the car, audio works then on a rough road surface stops working. Scenario 3 Start the car, audio works for 10 seconds and then stops, re start the car same again, audio on then off. A few other pointers; Problem is prevalent after rain, no problem for 2000 miles in French sunshine. Had a new amp and head unit fitted as the CD and aux function had failed, the same problem occurred with the old head unit and amp. I'm guessing there's a loose connection or a bad earth somewhere, but where? Any ideas where I can this problem fixed - willing to travel and pay!! Cheers

BREXIT price. There's the headlight split halo fit option, the Nissan offer for the same money, or wait for UK interest rate to rise.

Hi, I'm attempting to swap a failed CD unit in a 2010 GT convertible. Bit of a problem the replacement unit is now showing "wait" then "secure" on the nav screen. Is there a fix for this problem? Thanks

Hi, 2010 roadster has started intermittently producing some fierce crackling noises in the car. I assume the noise is coming from the speakers. Other symptoms are radio and music box stop or are distorted. Crackling occurs with the audio and screen switched off. Any ideas - before the car burns itself to a crisp? Manny Thanks

Hi, Thanks for the info - as for Evans Halshaw, I spoke to them as well as several other dealers, got the same offers for similar cars to within a few hundred quid for our 07 roadster, apart from one who offered me £2.5k more and it's an auto so I took that. Ours needed new fronts, a scuff sorting and a big service so I was as happy as you ever can be when trading in a car. I'll let you know how I get on cable hunting in the colonies

Hi, Picked up the new to us 2010 370 auto Roadster on Friday , much more refined compared to our 07 350 roadster, grip and turn in are superb with a vastly improved ride. Shocked with the fuel consumption - never seen 30+ before, pity it doesn't growl anymore. As a newbie I've got a few queries for the 370 meisters; The handbooks that came with the car make no reference to the roadster or to touch screen navigation and FYI Nissan UK don't hold any?! The car was advertised with a DVD based nav system, the car has a touch screen, USB port, trick bluetooth pairing, voice recognition and "Music Box", I'm assuming this is the hard drive based connect premium system, which logic would suggest doesn't run off a DVD or maybe it does. Have I got connect premium? How do I update the nav system and does it really cost 399 euros - as advertised by Navteq? If it's DVD or smartcard based has anyone tried any editing software to add in custom poi's? Where do I find instructions for managing the music box Thanks in anticipation

DVD Navteq system rather than the HDD which I think will take poi's and updates from Pocketgpsworld. Pimp my nav software works on BMW systems not sure about the Nissan system - so a trip down to the Snooper shop is looking likely.

Another weak moment - after 8 happy months swapped the 2007 350 Roadster for a 2010 370 Roadster, still smiling. Need to update the Nav DVD, any one had a go with any editing software?
